recently two of my friends barely started to actually make a army with points and theyve been arguing that for troops the weapons are allready included in the pts for example slugga boys are 9 pts and their weapons are sluggas and choppas so one says that you add 3 pts for the slugga and choppa and one says it stays at 9 and only add pts if your gonna do upgrades. please help us clear this issue

In this case, no. Sluggas are the points worth listed in the codex.

You only pay for weapons where it says you must/can (I.E. I have to pay 10 Points for a Rokkit on an Ork Boy)

According to my Ork Codex, ork boyz are 6pts/model, which includes either sluggas and choppas, or shootas.

So you can have a model armed with slugga and choppa for 6pts, or a model armed with a shoota for 6pts.

I am looking in the latest Ork Codex.
