Im sick an tired of seeing only imperial terrain from GW.
Im tired of seeing games between v2 xenos on imperial terrain.
They have great terrain in the planetstrike book that was alien that they could make for use.
What do you guys think?

Well there isn't a mass appeal of Alien terrain, so any terrain that did come out would either be via Forge World (expenive and badly cast) or vacu-formed (expensive and badly cast).

Now now, vacu-forming is not expensive, it's just badly case.

Even if it's badly cast, I would take Forgeworld over vacu-form any day of the week.

Then again, I would probably get my teeth pulled; sans anesthesia, before buying vacu-formed terrain.

1. Make it. Styrofoam and cardboard is your friend.
2. Go to the local pet store and check out the aquatic section. Lots of weird plants, rock shapes, and such. Make it happen.

Vac-formed stuff CAN be well done. Just not by GW.

If your only exposure to the art of vac-formed stuff is GW's blastscape, then you have my pity and I shall shed a tear for you.

Xenos terrain is harder to make. It's not all sharp edges and straight lines like imperial stuff. Compound curves and organic/quasi-organic shapes.

Foam can be carved/shaped to make these shapes. It is a skill though, and not everyone will have the patience for it.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

I have a super nice selection of rubber coral I got from the pet store. Looks great as alien terrain.

Forgeworld has some Nid terrain and some Tau Defense turrets and a comms tower.

From my take on it, it seems like the game is framed with the Empire in collapse. The various Crusades of millenia past expanded mankind's reach to the far edges of the galaxy. Now the various xenos and or chaos are taking systems as the power base of the Empire receeds closer and closer to Terra or other power bases like Macragge or Cadia for example. Because of this most of the warzones and the terrain in them are Imperial in nature.

Your side is always the "will of the people" the other side is always fundamentalist, extremist, hatemongers, racists, anti- semitic nazies with questionable education and more questionable hygiene. American politics 101.

I am starting making some myself for my Tyranids.

Thank you for saying that, I shall have to do the same.

Yeah the problem is forgeworld would charge you 100$ for a block of resin with a smiley face drawn on top.. Their terrain is nice, but excessively priced for the size (even compared to their models which are excessive in price)

What alien terrain is there. Humans, eldar and I assume Tau all live on worlds with similar plant forms - they all breathe the same air as each other. The early human colonisers took plants from earth with them and wiped out any alien plants and animals they didn't like so that most human worlds have plant forms similar to earth's. Planets that orks and so forth take over still have those earthlike plants on them.
That leaves buildings and the majority of customers have an interest in the Imperium or chaos and so the buildings are designed for them.
The ones who miss out are the minority that do eldar and tau. Nids have no buildings. Ork buildings are so random that a kit is a waste of time as they're the easiest type to scratch build.
Now what would be nice is if FW and GW sold bags of factory seconds/miscasts and other broken bits for use as terrain or for conversions.

Lets see... well you have pics do go off of for eldar terrain in the ork codex, and there are pictures of ork buildings, but really, most people could make them with plasticard. But look at pg 86 of the ork codex... if you have it... i assume things like this are what you're talking about.
