iv only recently gotten into modeling and iv been browseing through the site for some time now, looking for some modeling ideas and inspirations and there’s a material I keep seeing used that I absolutely must get my hands on.

What is every one using for those tubes? they look like, well some kind of tiny metal tubes! if some one would be so kind as to tell me what they called, and if I can find them at my local hard ware store id be most appreciative.

there are a few different options for tubes. Some people use plastic rod and bend it to the shape or curve they want. Another option is using a small gauge wire, these are nice because they hold their shape and are a bit more flexible. For Cables I use guitar strings. you can get a set of different sizes for like $5 from any music/guitar store.

"Wot, This? Naw I've had this fer ages. Of course the paint's still wet, it's me favourite. Sell it to ya if you like. One Careful owner."

I have a 3mm brass tube that I bought from a hobby centre. It's the same place you'll find model railways, airplanes, remote controlled cars etc.
