Ok this isn't uber douple lash list but has worked for me well. I just satrted making chosen for my army and I was wondering which unit would get replased by chosen (I can make up to 10 chosen and the weapon opitions are still avaible). Here is the list (which is slaanesh themed):

HQ

Chaos lord 125

He runs with posessed giving them anti-IC and anti-powerarmour support

Sorcerer 125

He usually stays home and guards home objectives

ELITE

-Champion with power weapon

I was wondering would it be wise to change these to havocs to get more special weapons?

8 noise marines 275

-blastmaster (this thing took out over 20 guardsman in a single round without help of sorcerer, I'm keeping this toy)

Predator made me proud by destroying more tanks than IG's all tanks and other anti-tank putted together (also that pesky valkyrie got destroyed)

Vindicator 125
Has the biggest kill count on marines.

*note* that havoc launchers are just point fillers.

Well take out the possesed and the vindicator and add another predator.

The predator needs heavy bolter spons as does the other one.

Something like 10 chosen 5x melta works well, but if its slaneesh then something like 5x power weapon, and a MoS.

I can't take away posessed because they are a meat shield for KB and I don't think that bolter predator will be as effective marine killer as vindicator.

Alot more flexiable though, its better to take vindicators in pairs, and the same with most armour.

QFT, one vindicator not so scary. Attack with something outfitted right that has more than one wound and can't be instant killed. no big deal there is a solid chance it'll miss anyway. Two however punishes units into ash.

At least take another vindie then. I do agree that you should drop the possessed. Maybe replace them with a third vindie? That would be scary.

God, you just don't give up with the vindi. I just wanted to know if it's possible stuff in a squad of chosen without changing general tactic. If I lose posessed I got dead squad of KB (and thats a no no). Can't you just answer the question. If you are saying anything about taking another vindi I'm asking mods to lock this thread.

Well let's be a jerk about it. Ask them to lock your thread then, it's you thread, not ours, so go ahead. We were only trying to help up until this point.

You are giving me help where I don't need it.

You would have to take out the possesed, besides the fact that they are kind of a waste. The Chosen open up a whole new area of tactics for you to use, and they have the same special rules from game to game.

As for the Vindis, they do bring up a good point, and it would do you well to listen to them. Besides the fact that they are trying to help you, and it may not be the help you're exactly looking for but they're still giving it to you. Whenever people ask others to look over their lists different people notice different things, and what most people have noticed is that you should have more vindis. I first read this post and thought that you should screen your zerkers with the vindi(s). Blow the crap out of the enemy and then roll through and clean up.

Anyway, the chosen can act as a decoy, sometimes even better than a Slaan DP. But if you want to increase their survivability then you have to go Nurgle, which tacs on another 5-10 pts per model. I've played with them before and bought 5 Flamers for them and a land raider to transport in with a MoK. Rolled on and killed 10 Sternguard with just the flamers their first turn. They can also do okay for Daemon Bomb armies, acting as a close icon or asp champ vessel.
