Me and my older son was home alone with out the wife and little ones and though it would be the perfect time to get in a game without the chaos of a 7 year old and 6 month old making a ruckus while we played . One problem no board , our board got water damage so had to get rid of it .

My son though being the bright 15 year old that he is said wanna play hero scape than ( which is fun but its no warhammer of any sort ) which gave me the idea of using the hero scape stuff to build up a board . And low and behold we had ourselves a 1500 point game on it . Here are some pics that got us through a quite sunday . These are from our first game my brother stopped by of course with no army but we used the hero scape figs as nids and it worked out good .

The second game we didnt take any pic sorry .

Heh. I like it. Pity the table is so narrow, but otherwise that's quite a clever 'stop gap' solution.

Oh no, no, no, no, NO!

This will simply not do!

I suggest you send me those Hero Scape tiles so I can create 3d Battletech maps with them.

That seems like it would be difficult to play on. Solid idea though.

Now use your Guardsmen in The Battle For All Time! I can send you the cards I worked up for Marines and Eldar if you like...

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

it wasnt to bad the terrian was alittle tight made it hard for transports but mad for a good game , tring to come up with different tactics for the dense jungle was cool something that should be done more to mix things up in battle the terain isnt always easy to get threw and wide open .

@gavin sure il check what you came up with I made a few cards nyself for some darkelves and a witch hunter band .

I battled on heroscape terrain once, it was great, but I haven't done it since, and I don't know why.
Now I use the heroscape terrain as campaign tiles for a map based campaign.

Congratulations, that was the stupidest remark the entire wargaming community has managed to produce in a long, long time.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.
