What's a good container to store my WHFB miniatures? I've seen people using Tackle Boxes and I've asked them where they've gotten them and they say at Wal Mart for like 2 bucks, but I can't find any for less than 10. Help?

What army do you have?

Depending on how many pointy bitz there are to your models, Sabol Army Transports or standard GW transport cases (or 3rd party equivalents) are better suited. Some people use pistol cases which tend to come with egg-crate foam.

Battlefoam (you may see an ad banner for them on Dakka) also offers custom cut foam trays, whchi, while pricey, seem to keep many people pleased.

Target sells a storage tower with 7 individual containers, each with an attached lid, for $30. I can fit a full 2k point army in each container (even Skaven) barring any large models. It's been great so far.

I store my minis in a large metal filing cabinet that has lots of small drawers, or in large cardboard boxes.

I used to use Sabol cases to transport them, but it got to be too much of a hassle to take each figure in & out of the little foam slot. Breakage sometimes occurred.

So I went to the local Wal-Mart and bought hardshell plastic 4-pistol cases (made by Plano, and about $10), and I could generally transport a complete army in one or two of those. They were lined with egg-crate foam, which made it easier to get figures in & out.

Then I started buying big sheets of egg-crate foam and cutting it to fit in the army box, or a cardboard printer-paper box. My entire Ogre army now stays in the box it came in, whether it is stored in the closet or on its way to a game. Beastmen & Bretonnians, too. My other armies, however, have gotten magnetized, and stick nicely to the metal drawers of the aforementioned filing cabinet, so when I use them, I just take the whole drawer out and take it to my FLGS. This means I never have the embarassment of setting out my army only to realize I left my general at home.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

Pistol cases or rifle cases (if you've got lots of vehicles).

These are great and versatile. Especially cheap since you're in the US.
