Also, I understand WHY, but I don't think the problem is with the "thread" religeon. It's just that some posters are just too dumb and immature to handle these delicate discussions in a reasonable way. They should concentrate on the posters, not the thread.

Actually I posted that little sketch from the late lamented 'Mr Show' tv series because it was funny and would lighten the mood after yet another messy and unpleasant religion thread. It's in no way offensive to Christians and was sent to me by an old friend who is a born again Christian.
I argued with Frazzled about locking the last one because there was serious discussion in it, I wasn't participating but was reading it. But he responded with some of the posts from just the first page and I really couldn't criticise his decision. I think we should just drop the religion discussions, we can't seem to hold the discussion without the attacking or the close mindedness on both side of the fence. I'll stick to taking pot-shots at all the rightwingers via the politics threads...
As for the lock posts here, take a joke folks

What do people have against religeon? I don't see how it can be the cuase of all our problems. I certainly don't see atheists having a happy outlook as to the fate of the world. Many are cynics...very cynical..being cynics.
