I'm currently stationed in Okinawa and I'm curious if there are any 40k players here. It would be great if anyone has been here and can offer advise on where to buy paints. I'm stationed on futenma so that gives you a general idea of where I am on the island, but I've got a vehicle so I'm willing to drive to get to a store / game.

i was on camp hansen a few years back. the only thing i can tell you is that they have gaming sometimes on the kadena air force base and there is a dated gaming shop on gate 2 street.

the shop is called silver bullet, it has some models, but its a hole in the wall with no tables.

Is it ON gate 2 street or on a sub street? I don't remember seeing it there my first two years here of binge drinking on gate 2.... but that could be because of my activities there.

its ON gate 2 street, really close to the gate. its on the same side of the street as yellowbox and the fujiama bar (are they still there?)

loads of memories on gate 2 street. i was more into magic then 40k at the time in my life, mostly cuz transporting decks was alot easier then transporting armies.

I was on Futenma. I actually had a couple of guys on the base that gamed, so I never had to go anywhere, but I'd try to find out where they game on Kadena.

If they ever send you up Yokosuka/Atsugi/Zushi way, you can get to the GWs in Tokyo in about 60-90minutes by train depending where. The staff can hammer out a little bit of English, but the prices are absolutely gotarded.

The shilling center on Kadena Air Base has a warhammer 40k group that meets every saturday afternoon. Its called tabletop warriors or something, they normally play in a back room. You can ask at the front desk. I used to play magic there often and theres ALWAYS 40k players.

They play games of varying sizes, and theres tons of armys there. Someone will probably be willing to lend you an army. A few guys there usually run 3-4 armys. It just depends when. But yeah, i was stationed there for 2 years, they're great people. Good luck!

Been to Kadena twice seems like good peoples over there. Me and a friend are over on Foster wouldnt mind playing a game when you can either.
