Retribution of Scyrah Warcaster

Among the most powerful arcanists born in a generation, Adeptis Rahn Shyeel is a master of force manipulation and arcane science. His movements send ripples through the air, and with but a thought he can generate storms of kinetic force capable of rending metal and bursting flesh. With a wave of his hand men and machines alike are swatted aside as easily as gnats, and it is just as effortlessly that he brushes away entire volleys of incoming fire.

Sounds like a magic-centric warcaster with similarities to all the guys with the mittens.

(Yes, I know some of you don't like the mittens.)

If you view the 3d view, you can see the weird look of the smokestacks.

I do like the guys with the power fists. Great model Imo.

The only thing I'm not looking forward to is to have to straighten yet another lance that will no doubt come bent in the blister, and I can't see the rotation view at work, but if the smoke stacks look ugly I will just take them off somehow.

hm, not to shabby.
kinda feels weird, that he's not sporting his factions super thighpads, but not a bad model

Now that is a powerfist! GW, you could learn something from these guys.

Cheers,

Finally a non-jack model that is appealing for Retribution. I do think of Commander Shadowsun when I see him though (the neck thing).

Looks good. Interesting design, decent enough posing I suppose. I mean, if you go dynamic you have the high chance of looking really bad, and if you don't it looks "static."

I do really like what they are trying to do with the aesthetic though.

Definately the best looking Warcaster so far for the Retribution. The first one I've actually liked.

Same here - this is the first Retribution Caster that I've liked too. It seems like Retribution has a few cool models coming out, but there just isn't enough to interest me in the faction as a whole. Even of the ones that I like, there isn't really anything that I've thought was totally awesome yet.

He screams for some kind of cool (not duckbilled) futuristic helmet. These guys could form the basis of some cool 40k Eldar or Exodite conversions.

Wow, not terrible.

And only $12, actually 20% cheaper than a GW Special Character.

PP needs to pay more attention to GW Character pricing, I guess...
