I Wanna Be The Guy is considered one of the hardest games on the net.

I'll try to summarize it. The point of it is the sheer challenge of it. You can die when you least expect it, and getting past the obstacles requires a bit of thought.

For example, you might need to get down a building, each floor has a moving spike wall that you cannot outrun. The trick on floor 1 might be to bait a spike wall to pass and then run in the same direction as that spike wall. The trick on floor 2 might be to get behind where the spike wall appears, then run in the same direction. On floor 3 though, the spike wall comes opposite to where you need to go. It seems impossible to get past floor 3, however you may find a fake wall in the alcove where you are safe from the spike wall. You can go through it to find a whole different level.

Another example would be you having to get past a giant Chain Chomp. You can't fly over it, and it's immune to shooting. But the way to get past it might be to fly into it's mouth or jump into the pit that happens to be in front of it. In both cases many would think you'd die from that.
