Something a big different, and surely a topic that everyone will agree is pretty cool. Zombie Nazis! I picked these up at Attack in Devizes and are part of the 'Secrets of the Third Reich' range. They're more or less done, but I've not decided what to do with the bases yet, probably dark grey gravel with a few tufts of grass.
Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.
So its not weird enough that we are both called jack, but now we think the same? piss off
the sculpts arent that bad, any idea on size compared to a GW model?

95% of teens would go into a panic attack if the jonas brothers were about to jump off the empire state building copy and paste this if you are the 5% who would pull up a lawn chair grab some popcorn and yell JUMP BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not bad - but waaay too clean, dirty them up a bit, since even 'fresh' zombies mysteriously immediately acquire a layer of filth

I love Hitler. He looks like a ringleader from a circus.
As for the bases, try and model them like some just emerged from the dirt. If you have problems with inspiration, grab a friend and do Nazi Zombies on CoDWaW. Just look at the zombies as they come out, the dirt effect is like a crater. Also, some of their uniforms look a little too neat - like the Nazis died from a bio attack instead of getting riddled with holes.
Permission to use Hitler as my avatar? His pose is win.
Rico.

"Well, looks can be deceiving."
"Not as deceiving as a low down, dirty... Deceiver."
If you're intending him to be zombified (but not flesh-hanging-off-your-bones zombified) you can paint his eyes without pupils to get a very subtle undead effect.
Are these West Wind? They look like them. I've been tempted to do the same thing for my renegade army
Armies:
(CSM/HH) - Iron Warriors; Death Guard; World Eaters; Night Lords
IG - Vestfalian Expeditionary
Force (Solar Auxilia - HH)
SM - Blades of Inaros (Homebrew)
DE - Kabal of Ouroboros
"And what is wrong with their life? What on earth is less reprehensible than the life of the Levovs?"
- American Pastoral, Philip Roth
Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.
No, Hitler is supposed to be flesh and blood and he's holding the Spear of Destiny. It's only his minions who serve the Reich after death.
To answer a few questions, the Hitler is pretty much out of the packet, I had to add the moustache and the armband but that's hardly a "conversion". It's obvious who the figure is supposed to be, they just didn't go the whole hog. And Rico, I'm happy for you to use the picture if you like. They are, as infilTRAITOR spotted, West Wind Miniatures.
Anyway, the zombies came with seperate heads, I bought a pack 'with helmets' and another 'bear heads', but opened the packs together and mixed up the heads to my preferred bodies. The uniforms were painted with Vallejo Grey-Green, which came out looking more grey than green. Then zombies themselves were GW rotting flesh and an earth brown wash, and for the detail; a bit of bone for the skeletal bits, reds for the muscle tissue and a touch of elf flesh/rotting flesh mix on the slightly fresher parts, but this tonal difference didn't work out quite as distinct as I would have liked. I'd forgotten about weathering them to look dirty, I guess I was cautious about spoiling them with a dirty effect.
So prices, the zombies were £4.50 a pack (of 4) and Hitler was £2, meaning the whole lot of 9 figures came to £11 RRP. And you can't argue with that.
I have one more figure, but she's for the Allies and totally different to these. I don't know what to do next, I'd like more but will have to find a supplier or order online. I'd also like a tank or two to go with them. Anyone know a supplier who would do a true 28mm / 1:64 scale Tiger 1 tank? I could use 1:48th plastic kit, but at heart I know it will look too big, even for a Tiger. I'd then dress it up with various Infra-red gear and other wierd stuff they were testing at the end of the war. The best thing to have for 1946+ would be some of the Entwicklung series, most well known is the E-100 superheavy, but there's smaller stuff like the E-25 or E-50.

Hitler needs a nicer weapon, something fancy ya' know. Maybe an umbrella, because he dun' like to fight all that much when it's raining... and he is singing in it.

She is painted very well and the bomber jacket is a key ingredient in t he vibe of the fig, but I think the hair ruins this fig. The fig would have been so much cooler if she had that 40's pin up girl/bomber art vibe with an appropriate 40's hairdo (sort of a May West vibe. Its almost liek the sculptor wasn't willing to fully commit...
