I've been wondering about some questions that I thought incredibly dumb so I haven't asked them. So I'm making this thread to ask my questions. Feel free to throw anything in there you'd like to. These questions are about anything, from painting to a simple rules question. That aren't really in depth or long enough for their own threads.

#1: Guardsmen Marbo gets 5 attacks for having a pistol and a CCW right? Or does he only get 4?
#2: I want to prime white, do I have to actually use something that says primer on it? Or can I just buy some white spray paint?
#3: How many SW come in their main plastic kit?

I will throw one out there. Does a Ork vehicle have to be 100% red for the red paint job upgrade or can I just throw some red on it?

I use White Primer on metal and White Spray on plastics

I always saw red paint job to be an upgrade like extra armor. You don't actually need anything on it as long as you can differentiate it from other vehicles without the upgrade. But if all your vehicles have it, it doesn't really matter. Like with extra armor.

1. Guardsman Marbo has 4 Base Attacks. He gets one bonus attack for having a Pistol (Ripper Pistol) + Close Combat Weapon (the Envenomed blade). So five total, six on the charge.

2. Use primer. Primer has something called "tooth", which means that it will adhere to the primed surface better as well as giving the paint applied to it a much better surface to stick too. Without that, you're liable to rub paint off your minis, even if you seal them.

3. Don't know on this one, sorry.

Does a deff dread get an extra attack coz of the 2 PK's already in there, so it would have 4 attacks instead of the regular 3?

Nope he gets +1 for each additional one added to it after the original two as it can have 4.

Why does GW rise their prices so much and many times?
Why there are armies that are underpowered and some armies that are overpowered (more likely in WHFB but in 40k too)?
Does there come Power Fist in Tactical Squad box? And how about meltagun and plasma gun.

do ancient warbikes (seriously 2nd ed anchient, and most likely chaos i think just converted) count as nob bikers, or are people going to bitch and moan about it when not with friends.

do GW design there metal models so you have to have a case or the paint will scratch when in contact with ANYTHING?

do you HAVE to paint clan specific (gazzy's a ...i forgot o.0) characters as there clan? i used to think no but recently heard a story of a store not letting a dude play him cause he used his own scheme for gazz... (yes people wont, but is it actually mentioned anywhere at all?)

i was reading through the Tau Codex and what does the "+1" near some entries mean? i understand "0-1", does "+1" mean mandatory one unit?

Yes, 1+ means one or more of that unit must be fielded. Also, you've given me a genius idea...mech kroot .
