Ok first and foremost this whole thing is pretty much puttied together till I finalise it.

Second I will be mass producing this when I finish it (about 5 of them) as such I have the parts to do this, (Yes I have 5 pred kits lol)

Third Id like seriously input and hardcore suggestions, like "take all that crap off!" or "that looks stupid"

The only real "issues" I am working on is how to fill in the lasgun holes, and how to "lift" the turret so the cannon ist almost on top of the canopy.

If you have ideas and solutions, please oh please post them!

Probably somewhere I shouldn't be

Not bad, but I'm not a fan of the hatch right in front of the turret though.

Tank Commander (from turret): "DRIVER!"
Driver (pops up from hatch): "Yes Sir?" *CLONK*
Tank Commander: "Hehehe... I love doing that!"

I don't mind the hatch. But it would be interesting if you add those 'tank telescopes' (periscope?) on top of the hatch. But no, I like it as is.

I think you can just block off the lasgun ports with marbles (for random spherical look); or with plasticard (for that random blocked off hatch look). You could add digging tools (spades, shovels whatever you call them) across the ports if the look barren.

This tank reminds me so much of the infantry fighting vehicle, Bradley, ... I think it needs to have lots of luggage, as if soldiers campaigning far away have stockpiled all sorts of survival gear on the tank.

I love how it looks from the front. From the side though, the barrel seems too long. Maybe it is the muzzle break that is too long. But over all the barrel seems 'longer' than necessary. It is probably the scale issue with GW, but maybe you can shorten it down; or beef up the girth/width of the barrel.

You beat me to it. I think it needs luggage too.

Yeah, this needs the Chimera lasgun ports covered up. I've done something with that spare bit of armour that comes with the chimera to do this but I'm in a rush this morning so I'll have to take some pics later

One of my friends did the exact same thing as this, and it looks really good. Keep it exactly the way it is, and it will look loads better than the normal chimera model

Yeah the one answer I have to my problem is flipping the lasguns around to there sphere sides and mounting them "inside out" thus making 6 spheres off the back.

The hatch in front of the turret is frequently seen on old Soviet tanks. When parked, the turret is rotated clockwise until the driver's hatch can be opened. You may see this in old photos.

It's quite typical, but normally not that far back.

KV 1

M1, crap tank but serves the purpose of driver under the turret/gun

Sweet, so there precedence for this. Awesome. I didn't include the other details I will be adding such as radar dishes, aquilas and other things that will really flush the model.

Id like to see some interesting ways to cover the holes and raise the turret slightly.

Some things I got rolling around right now are: Turning the lasguns around to make spheres, using space marine should pads to make vents and using a base to raise the turret. I'm sure I like the base though, even though its the only thing that really fits, it looks too skinny.

For a basic fill-in, GS and some sandpaper to smooth it out will do the trick well enough. And just for raising the turret, Plasticard is your friend

Its a nice look, but it has a major flaw. It would have no room for troops. Since the turret ring extends down into the floor of the vehicle pretty much blocking passage.

However this is practical problems, so who cares.

Ya know, iv already thought about this but the size of the turret makes it more an anti personel weapon and so alot of space would not be taken up internally as would be your MBTs

it looks really good

any thoughts into how your going to block the gun holes for the las guns at the back. are they gunna have flamers anywhere?

For my chimera based russes I closed off the lasgun ports by covering them in spare track sections. If you search on this forum there is a whole thread dedicated to solving this problem, though, and it has some ace ideas.

Are you going to be running them as autocannon turrets? I found you can easily swap out the AC for the multilaser main armament. That may leave the barrel too far back on the chassis for your liking though.
