Imperial Recruit in Training

Greetings, I am getting back into the hobby after a few years and thought I'd add a few things to my Imperial Guard army. Here's my take on a Hydra (apologies for the blasphemous clutter in the background):

Still very much a work in progress, obviously. I know that Rhinos are not Guard vehicles, but extra large turrets always seem to look better on Rhinos. I still need to add a million details (sensor arrays, external panels, maybe a cockpit section) and also need to figure out where to stick the hull mounted heavy bolter/heavy flamer. Let me know what you think.

Very neat. I also went for the rhino chassis approach (primarily because I had a couple of spares), however I lamed out and got a 3rd party turret

I chopped up a couple of Guard infantry heavy bolters for the hull mounts on mine.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I like it. I have some spare Rhinos coming my way so I may have to do something like this.

Armies:
(CSM/HH) - Iron Warriors; Death Guard; World Eaters; Night Lords
IG - Vestfalian Expeditionary
Force (Solar Auxilia - HH)
SM - Blades of Inaros (Homebrew)
DE - Kabal of Ouroboros

Hello!

@Snickett: Where are the autocannons from???

Maybe you could add some Guard-figs to the 'SM-Hydra', because I think the tank looks too space-marin'ish.
But the turret is fine.

Best regards

The C-K

Thats cool. I especially like the action man with the camo pattern. I see you use exacto blades (thats very smart).
Maybe you should enhance the photo a bit so the text becomes readable. I having a hard time making it out.

One question though; What are the green things between the action man and the grey stuff?

Oh, and is the yoyo to be used for anything specific?
