im not that young, but the other kid was. I used to play 40k in the 2nd and 3rd grade as a space marine player, and i entered tournaments. Now im backing playing the game 8 years later! Sadly my mom threw away my 1750 pt SM army, and my 500 pt Nid army i was starting. Its good to be back in the fold again and this time ive brought new friends and faces to the game!

You started gaming in 2nd or 3rd and now, 8 years later you're back and not that young...now I feel *very old*.

Man, I really miss some of those awesome times when you really could just play games for practically weeks on end at the beginning and end of summer.

Very cool work on the video, looks like you guys had a good time (and you already have those Space Marines more painted then some of my armies I've owned for over a year.).

thanks for your comment! yes my brother who is 8 forced me to paint his space marines during a 3 day period. He literally forced me to sit down and paint. And being 8 he wanted his army to be painted and done. So i speed painted them and tried to get as much detail as i could in, and i was succesful. Sadly, i wont get to paint my army until i am done with his *sigh*

if she "threw out" that many models i would demand the cash for them.

I actually said that she had to pay for them and asked her why she threw them away and she said,"i thought you lost interest in them". Apparently she threw them away when I was on vaction. Oh well, honestly now I hate Space Marines but have a mutual respect for them.

Whoever played the space marines was pretty terrible, the AoBR marines outmatch the AoBR orks on points and he still lost lol. must of had some poor roling with the dread. (unlike one time where i had the same kinda dread and it took out two broadsides and O'shovah without taking one glancing or penetrating =D)

Well, the kid was a noob rolled bad and on top of it all (I believe) he ran around and didn't stand and shoot. I was glad to see that I pwned him, because you are right the pts in AoBR aren't even matched!

Man you got to enjoy it while your (really) young, im a junior in high school, but dont have time for it between wrestling and the other crap. Keep it it up though.

Im now a sophomore in high school, and last year I had loads of freetime. Now with work and everything I wont have time for 40k except on the weekends at my lgs. Thank you for watching my video!

Cool report guy's, really reminded me of my first time playing.

Yes i was extremely mad when my mom threw them away! And jeez this post is making everyone reminisce (spelling?).

I started playing again a year ago, after a ~9 year break. After buying the AoBR set and some extra orks, and desiding that I'd collect space marines, I thought I'd try and find my old SM army (around ~2000p iirc).

Sadly my old Space Marine army, my small Dark Eldar army AND all my bought terrain(ie: game mat, hills, walls, ruins) had been thrown away. All I could find was 3 bushes and 1 hill, that had been placed in the 'wrong' box.

No ones willing to take the blame and keeps telling me "they have to be there somewhere" but I've searched through all boxes for hours with no luck :(

This is all a bit off topic, but I had to vent

Great report! Don't worry about the rules too much, looks like you had a blast. We play all the time and still don't get all the rules right But we always have fun!
