I wanna share stories about games that just went so south for everyone that both players(or all depending on how many) just walked away and tried to forget about them.

Mine is a simple 2 turn tale. A tau playing friend of mine and I were going about some tau on eldar action and he got first turn, every single markerlight and railgun shot fired and missed leaving him open for my guys to jet over there and dominate.....unfortunately i rolled my forune psychic test....it failed double 6s jetted into dangerous terrain wiping two of my guys out....tank shocked a WS across the board we each blew up and lastly any firing that I did just failed, it was a sad day and we both called it quits.

Forever alone

Codex: CSM got released for 4th edition.

I quit. So did the three Alpha Legion players, the Slaanesh player, the eight Iron Warriors players, and the Death Guard player.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I got my hands on 3rd edition, as soon as it came out. Gave it a good read, put the rulebook on the shelf and didn't play for almost 2 years! Does that count? LOL! Seriously, I've had a few games go that way, over the years. I always go for the "Let's call this one good and try it again!". After all, it is ONLY a game...

Ultramarine Master with Gauntlets of Macragge

Boston, MA

Was playing a game of assault heavy DA versus assault heavy BA. Two turns of shooting and assaulting, and only one or two figures died. I'm pretty sure a power weapon is the only thing that managed to kill a model. We just decided that fate didn't want us to play, shook hands, and agreed never to speak of it again. I broke that last part, but he doesn't go to Dakka, so I'm sure he won't mind.
