Because people like to get pestered by my from across the street with a mega-phone .
Mace also works, and I have often wondered how you could turn your bike into a giant tazer when it is locked. I always thought that would be quite entertaining.

If you linked it to your lock, you could actually have at least some level of a marketable product. Tazer lock, have fun making money off of that one .
I see no reason why someone would be messing around with my bike anyway, so if they got zapped they probably did something stupid .

I once spent $400 bucks upgrading my racing bike, locked it securely in an obvious place at the train station(with other bikes there), came back 4 hours later to find that they had bent/cut every part of my bike(apart from the frame itself) because they couldn't break the lock.

Automatically Appended Next Post: Sums up the general public quite nicely, they bitch and moan when someone does something against them, but whenever someone else has something done across them, such as having their bike stolen, they don't care as it doesn't affect them and it would cost them a couple minutes of their "valuable time" to do the right thing
