The building looks good!
Like the brickwork, but was expecting the roof a bit darker actually.

The roof is darker than it looks under the painting light. It's just one kit, the first one had wrong instructions and I built it wrong.

I like the variation in the tile roof, and do you know what the regular retail for that kit is, I was floored by some prices when I stopped at the hobby store last week.

@vik, you never heard of Lavern and Shirley? , I guess it's just a piece of Americana that doesn't translate well. Especially the opening which is Yiddish. It means something along the lines of the bungler and the unlucky , and rabbit stew , well it came up in a trivia contest we were at months ago.

Hasenpfeffer is a German word isn't it? Yeah Theo, they always have a big table at the local LEGO conventions around here. Cool stuff.

Hasenpfeffer is indeed a German rabbit stew. One of my uncles used to make it every Easter (Sick ), and tell us kids afterwards what it was. He also would tell us that he got the Easter bunny before he could hide he eggs, so no egg hunt. Glad he's part of the family we not talk to anymore. It's braised in a red wine sauce and has shallots and bacon, or that how he made it. It did taste really good, but he also raised the rabbits on his farm, so it was hard to keep down once you realized you had been petting your dinner a few days before.

mean... some peeps deserve quite some nasty disease... nothing terminal... just to take them down a peg...

it is the special kind of old man humor i come to know from some of the more unwelcome family members of mine too... i think there is a nasty streak in humanity ... we need to cross breed so we can elminate it

I decided to use Government Green on the doors after all



Remind me to stay away from 1/72 in the future. This was a thoroughly annoying kit, and I don't want to build another one.

Looks great dave , really like the green doors, helps bring I to life. I hope hey send you a really awesome kit next time. Like new dust tactics terrain .
