Playtested the 1850 version of this list last night.

2 games
1st game vs mech gaurd.
2 x 2 leman russ demolishers
1 x command with 4 flamers
1 platoon3 x 3 lascannon 10 man squads
3 x mech vets w/ meltas
2 x 5 man rough riders
Spearhead deployment
Basically we both form lines and I head straight towards him popping smoke to get myself close. I am able to get my units into assualt on the bottom of turn 3 and absolutly decimate his armor with my furious charge bonus. He comes out and gets some good shooting back but it is not enough to stop the counter charges that clean up the rest of his units.
The highlight of the game was when dante's squad made it to the back corner that contained his platoon with 3 10 man units and the platoon command. I pulled off a multi charge killing 13 guard and losing 2 marines for the trade off. All 4 units ran off the table.
No way for him to claim or contest any objectives by end of game.
2nd game VS Mech orks
3 x battle wagons
3 x truck boy squads
2 x shoota boy squads
1 x loota squad
1 x big mech w/ CFF
1 x burna boy squad
1 x dread
Dawn of war/ kill points
His deployment was heavy to the top left corner. One truck came from the right corner. Dread was hiding behind a wall in center of board.
both my bikes move of cut off the truck and threaten the dread by going
TB right. I moved on center wall with dante's squad screened by the wall. I pop smoke on 2 rhinos while the rest of my units are obscured by shooting. Bikes pops truck on the right.
Lootas get 2 pens and a glance on rhino with smoke. Save them both. Dread and truck boy squad assualt rhinos truck boys pop one. dread needs 6's to hit and fails.
I clean up truck boy squad on the right with fire from
LRC. Pop dread with melta and clean up one truck boy squad from rhino with squad that bailed out.
Another truck boy squad moves in and pops my vets rhino. I lose one
CC dood. Lootas blow some holes in rhinos but they keep running. Battle wagons get further into postion but only take pot shots. One battle wagon seperates from the pack to try and head off a bike, the shoota boys take it down in
CC.
LRC dumps
DC into shoota boys and anihalates them. Dante jumps to melta a shoota boy battle wagon. My 2 running rhinos use engines to go straight towards lootas and pop smoke.
Burna battle wagon nails Dante squad. Take 32 wounds outa 96 hits. Save all but 3 after alocations. WHOOOOOO very very lucky.
At this point I had the game sealed. Pfist units are draging down trucks that got immobilized and dante is jumping around giving loving to anything within 18"
Final tally was 8 to 11
The strat of making him blow me outa my transports worked alot better than I could have hoped.
