Have fun dealing with vehicles. With that many fragile CC troops, you're also vulnerable to any resilient units that can dish pain in close quarters. Definitely add a Carnifex with a barbed strangler. I'd suggest changing the Hormagaunts to tons of Spinegaunts if you're going to go the Gaunt route. Twice as many bodies is always a plus.

Your Warriors should be all Death Spitters or Two Spitters and one Strangler. You can take off Enhances Senses, +1BS to a blast weapon won't help as much as putting points elsewhere. You're right in making the secondary weapons on them different for wound allocation shenanigans, Warriors can be annoyingly difficult to kill since they're immune to instant death. Extended Carapace isn't terribly necessary unless you find yourself facing a lot of Flamers. Both Tau and Guard have plenty of AP4 weaponry at their disposal so you'll be relying on cover for saves anyways.
Hormagaunts... they're only useful at killing exposed Tau or Guard. They're not good at killing any other army in the game. Further, you need Synapse on them to move around properly, but that same Synapse can get them butchered from fearless combat resolution.
I'd personally liquidate these guys into either vanilla Genestealers or Stealers with Scuttlers and Flesh Hooks/Feeder Tendrils. The Outflanking that Scuttling allows would let the Stealers safely get into back lines where Tau and IG like to stick their gunlines. Further, because the Genestealers can rend, they can take down AV10 back armor tanks without too much issue so long as they don't move. Feeder Tendril Stealers even get to re-roll those misses against tanks that move.
Zoanthrope are not dedicated anti-tank. They're anti-MEQ Synapse creatures who have a 50% shot at hitting a tank within 18" once per turn. I'd probably go with either a Sniperfex to stun the tanks or Ninjafex (talons, +WS, Miasma) to run across the board scaring your opponent away from shooting other things.
At 750 points, maybe something like this?
3x Warriors:
Warrior 1: ScyTals, Barbed Strangler, Toxin Sacs
Warrior 2: ScyTals, Deathspitter, Toxin Sacs
Warrior 3: Lash Whip, Deathspitter, Toxin Sacs
3x Warriors:
Warrior 1: ScyTals, Barbed Strangler, Toxin Sacs
Warrior 2: ScyTals, Deathspitter, Toxin Sacs
Warrior 3: Lash Whip, Deathspitter, Toxin Sacs
8x Genestealers: Scuttlers, Feeder Tendrils
8x Genestealers: Scuttlers, Feeder Tendrils
Carnifex: 2x ScyTals, +WS, Toxic Miasma
Carnifex: 2x ScyTals, +WS, Toxic Miasma
Puts you at 744. It isn't optimal since you're very lacking in a Tyrant and maybe you'd prefer either a dakkafex or a stranglerfex over the ninjafex there, but it should provide a good mix of giant scary assault monster, sneaky outflanking assault, and plenty of 24" S6 blast weaponry to put up a good fight.

All warriors need Toxin Sacs, or none get them.
Also it seems one of them (per brood) has TS and VC? It needs 2 weapons.
And I second the bit about hormagaunts. I have been . . . disagreed with before about them. But - they are almost worthless (or worse) in 5e. I have a load of them from 4e play, but _never_ field them after a number of viewings of their performance in 5e.
8 spines gaunts w/o # cost 64 points and are ridiculously hard to remove from the table permenantly. (termagants are 72 points w/o# also nice)
At least one MC is a very good call in most Tyranid lists, as an opponent with a vehicle is hard to cope with otherwise. I regularly use a pair of Zoanthropes, but in the last dozen games I think they have destroyed one vehicle. It is not bad to shoot at them if there is nothing else . . . but psychic test + to hit + Armor pen = lousy odds even if each roll is decent enough.
A sort of side suggestion may be to use a broodlord as HQ, if you like. With FT and a retinue given AM the results are always fun to watch.

ok cheers for your replys, although it seems i was right with my old list i came up with judging from the talk about outflanking stealers. I had a stealer heavy list at one point but i was told it would'nt work by a "mate" thats why the whole guant heavy thing came up...
But could someone explain to me how the stealers just wouldn't get shot to sh*t by turn 2?

Here's a shot & dirty description: Say you have 3 warriors with different weapons (1 with scything/rending, 1 with barbed strangler/scything, 1 with deathspitter/rending). A unit of fluffy marines shoots some heavy weapons & bolters at them and they take 7 wounds, 4 of which ignore armour. Everyone takes 2 but you can decide who the deadly ones go onto. You could put both that ignore armour on one guy you need the least. If things go right you might be able to pile every single power fist shot onto one guy as long as everyone's taking equal wounds, thus keeping your more valuable guys alive. I think I got that right... Anyone care to chime in?
