Hello Dakka,

I looked at the information on the GW site about the chimera box and it seemed to me like they only include the HB for the hull weapon. Is that correct, or is the heavy flamer in there, too?

Thanks!

HF is in the box, the hull weapon, that is.

Unless they redid the kit, it's there

Its on the IG vehicle Accessory sprue specifically if memory serves, so every IG tanky kit should come with one.

The Hellhound and Demolisher do not come with the Accessory sprue, and if they get around to re-doing all the Guard tanks, I suspect that they will not come with one either.

The accessory sprue will then become a high-priced direct only item.

Sooo...the new hellhound is more expensive than many other tanks and comes without accessory sprue?

Well, I guess I should better buy my chimeras soon.

Thanks for your answers!

Yup. Ditto for the Demolisher. Cool huh?

Yeah, that's a bit too...too...businessy for me.

I was going to say "Well, maybe I should buy Tamiya/Revell 1:35 tanks and play them as my Russes", but I just noticed in most cases they aren't even cheaper (compared to maelstrom russes).

The new sprues come with hull HFs on as a base, dont they?

Freaking stupid if the hellhound doesnt, at least.

I collect:
Guard - 2k of mostly infantry
DA - 2k of deathwing, 2k of other bits (no vehicles)
Sisters - mostly converted/proxy because I'm waiting for therange to go plastic.
Tau - 2k with no riptides because I can.

Hellhound and Demolisher both come with all 3 Hull Weapon options.

In your base, ignoring your logic.

Well the new demolisher kit comes with executioner pieces as well so I guess that's a plus.
