I've got one of the old Armorcast Reaver Titans and was wondering if there was a way to ge the rules for it short of buying one of the IA books.

Reaver is in one of the Siege of Vraks books (SoV #2 IIRC).

Their is a free down-loadable alpha ruleset on forgeworld's website, but its had its cost changed in the release rules.

They made the Reaver significantly better then the Warhound by allowing it battle titan weapons on its arm mounts, which unfortunately the old Armourcast guy does not have.

forgeworld has experimental rules for the reaver, when they went to print for vraks the only thing that changed was the point cost.

There ain't nearly enough Salvage in this thread!

Reaver titan rules can be found here: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/pdf/reaver.pdf

The difference between these and the final rules, I think, is that the points should be 1450.

I do believe that alpha ruleset is the one Ive seen befor. Now I've got the issue that all three guns I own for the thing are listed as carapace only.

Thanks for the replies.

Eh, either counts as or play WYSIWYG, WYSIWYG will make you weaker, but in all honesty unless your buddy has a titan to fight you with that's probably OK...

Since this turned out better than I was hoping for... Anyone know where to find rules for the Tyranid versions of VDR, or at least rules for the Exocrine, Malefactor, and the one with the big mandables that ate tanks who name I forget?

BOLS has a lords of battle PDF thats pretty much balanced and is pretty good to use for Exocrines, Malefactors, etc

Comparing tournament records is another form of e-peen measuring.
