Hmmm... I'm thinking I'd like to upgrade, but my original license expired in April of 2008. So, despite them not actually upgrading the program in that time, they want me to have to buy a 3 year extension to my license, for 37.50.
On second thought, I think I'll pass for now...

Errm, what? No you don't. You should be able to use your original licence, or at least email customer support

Nope, I think it is Windows OS only :( Though why you are using Mac OS is beyond me, It's just BSD with more Security Flaws.

Why am I running Mac OS... ?
Put it this way, I've got no anti-virus software installed... and I've never had a virus.
PCs are just epicly gak compared to the amount of win covered in awesome sauce you get with a Mac.

If you don't want viruses, run Linux. Viruses for Macs are on the Rise. And with Linux you get WINE, which would let you run Army Builder

It's too bad that awesome sauce doesn't include games.
Back on topic:
I'm like 3.2 just fine. The miniatures list feature is neat, but not really all that helpful. I do like the functionality in the new roster creation screen that allows you to select from 12 preset point levels.

As a recent Mac convert, I was going to suggest picking up a copy of XP off of eBay and some random virtual PC software, then install Army Builder.
On the other hand, according to http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX/Building, Linux users aren't the only ones who can experience the joys of installing and running Wine.
The only complaint that I have is a really minor one--the 'Load' button on the 'Select a Game' window looks funny when all of the other buttons are small.

I suppose it's to make it even more idiot proof than before.
My Fav change so far has to be the scrolling Options/Weapons/Wargear Window. Makes things SO much easier.

I own and have paid for Army Builder 3.0. My computer is currently all but dead however and needs a wipe and reinstall of windows. How would I go about keeping my license and not having to pay for it over again so I can upgrade to 3.2?

If it has been more than 4 months since your last Install, you should be fine and just put in your Licence Key. However I suggest Emailing Customer support as well.

Each copy of AB gives you two licenses. You can reinstall each license once per year. If you need to reinstall inside of a year you can use the secondary license.

I do like the improvements in 3.2 I really like that they got rid of the tabbed options for units; I'm a lazy jerk and that was just one more mouse click.

Just an FYI and a bit of Speculation as I won't be able to reproduce this, so YMMV.
I first installed the upgrade on my PC at work, which is my second license. This seemed to invalidate my original license at home. Luckily, all I had to do was REactivate my license, all the information was still in there. Just an FYI, in case anyone (like me) installs the upgrade and is all OMGWTF

Biggest issue I had was figuring out how to do mobile roster on iphone. Answer is, get an app called 'FileAid' on your iphone (it's free), and use that. Works great, and I like the mobile roster.
Having said that, I think it's assanine that he's got all these demo pictures of a mobile roster on an iphone, but doesn't actually tell anyone how to get it on the iphone, except for 'put up your own website' (summarizing here).

My understanding is that you are required to have an active license with lone wolf to update it. I downloaded a copy of 3.2 on a PC with 3.0 on it and the first thing that poped up was a dialog box stating "Your license appears to be expired. If this is the case, this program may not function in its entirety." So its 3.0 or demo mode for me. I would however, LOVE to be wrong.

The alternative is to use the mobile me app. If you have mobile me space you can upload the html to there and then access it using the new app (which wins btw).

That's not AB, that's the datafiles. File a Bug Report. Or make the Files yourself and stop whining. Either/or. In any case, it's meant to go alongside the codex. The responsibility for making sure everything is legit is up to you.
