"And what is wrong with their life? What on earth is less reprehensible than the life of the Levovs?"
- American Pastoral, Philip Roth
Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.
Yeah I like it. Andy Parsons is a bit hit and miss and I really hate the token woman comedian they bring on every now and again because they are never never funny. I don't mind Lucy Porter so much because at least she's nice to look at.
Frankie Boyle is a national treasure and Dara O'brien is awesome. I really don't get the stick poor old Russell Howard gets from some people, I personally find him very funny. Oh well different strokes and all that!
"And if we've learnt anything over the past 1000 mile retreat it's that Russian agriculture is in dire need of mechanisation!"
I enjoy it quite a lot. As already said, Frankie Boyle and Dar O'Brien are jsut amazing and make the show worthwhile.
Russell Howard annoys me and I find his input pointless.
Watching this alongside QI just makes my night!
Armies:
(CSM/HH) - Iron Warriors; Death Guard; World Eaters; Night Lords
IG - Vestfalian Expeditionary
Force (Solar Auxilia - HH)
SM - Blades of Inaros (Homebrew)
DE - Kabal of Ouroboros
One of my fave comedy shows atm, and I'm another in the 'I find Russell Howard funny' camp, love all his fantasy/sci-fi references.
In fact it seems to me Frankie Boyle has being doing more of them of late as well, reacting off Russell.
But in general aye, I'll often put this on while modelling or painting, so I can chuckle along with the background noise.
"That's not an Ork, its a girl.." - Last words of High General Daran Ul'tharem, battle of Ursha VII.
Two White Horses (Ipswich Town and Denver Broncos Supporter)
I watch it too, it's not my favourite comedy panel show (Have I Got News For You or QI anyone?) but it's still good and I think all the usuals are very funny.

Mitchell is great, although I felt the last series of mitchell and web look was lacking something... wasn't enough sir digby for my enjoyment, which leads me to:
it was lacking the writers from peep show, just like the series before that, and the others before that.
Mock the Week is up and down. Sometimes you can get a whole segment of those one liners they do in response to some line the put up, eg. 'things you wouldn't say at....,' and the whole lot can be just rubbish. Occasionally there's some big laughs, but most of the time its just russel howard and some supposedly funny joke about what it would be like to ride a tortoise on an escalator or some other stupid bs.
Mitchell and Webb could do without Sir Digby Chicken Caesar! I cannot stand those sketches. It was at its peak maybe two or three seasons ago, which sketches like the two WW2 German soldiers in a trench. "Hanz are we the baddies?" Classic.
To quote the Channel 4 show, Peep Show: "I'm cancelling out of shame, like my subscription to White Dwarf"

And on that note, get Sarah Silverman over here...
You're joking, right?
Oh God, I cannot stand that woman.
People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.
She could be buck naked sitting on my bed and would still rather hit her with a chair than talk to/touch her.
Hey, everyone knows unconscious Chicks are more grateful for it.
Or is that Fat Lasses?
Either way, not even with yours mate. To quote Spike Milligan 'She's about as funny as a baby with Cancer'. Not to be confused with useless, inexplicably popular, nasty, gobby, racist, mindless reality TV nobodies. When they get Cancer only morons really care.
