Heres the scenario

its school time again, which means i will be back in a big town where there is a LGS, and i will actually have to to model. Now, i want to convert a new army into.......

So my thoughts have been

Option A) Space Marines. Use a Shike clone as "Shredder" with claws et al. using the video game foot soldiers as a focus point, do each squad in black with different colored helmets/shoulder pads. Also it fits well with the foot clan because i can name a dreadnought "Krang" a Razorback "Be-Bop" and a Rhino "Rocksteady"

Option B) A little more ambitious. Use Orcs. A warboss shredder, painted in ummie colored skin. boss poles would be the foot logo. Nobz would be converted to look like characters such as be-bop, rocksteady, slash, etc. Convert a AoBR dread to be Krang. Make the boyz look more foot soldiery by GS'ing the ninja masks on, giving them katana/nunchuks/si's/bo's etc. (even though they would be shooty boys, but just for looks)

So, what do you all think i should attempt?

Cutting back on the psychoactives?

Go ambitious or don't go at all.

Orks , because gork and mork stomps ( goes with Foot Klan ) lol

and they wont look as silly compared to marines.

A) because it would look better
B) You won't get as many death threats from gamers who take offence at your manipulation of the Marine fluff.

Marines, because the razorback/rhino names are far, far too perfect to pass up.

And the potential to model a Krang Dread is delicious, a single pink brain floating behind a clear sarcophagus window. Love it.

My vote is with the Ork concept. It would just look better.

I would go with Orks also because the foot fell in droves so the mass troops would be great for all those foot.

If it has to be one of those two, I'd go for Orks as well.

If it could be anything... Renegade Guard/Marines with mutated characters. This means you can actually to things like have a rhino headed character, or a brain type thing stomping around the board

My vote is Orks as well, but Guard, Renegade especially, sounds great as well to me.

I mean, the ninjas of the Foot Clan's effectiveness comes down to a lot of it, do you want them to be legion and destroyable, or Orks

They have lotsa stuff with ninja "goblins", if you get tierd of the Orky convertions.

Almost everything in marines , Orks can "Loot" anyways.

I wil have to come up with some fluff for why some of the orcs are mutated, having rhino/pig/ other types of heads. Mutagen maybe?

I want all of the nobz in the army to be TMNT characters, so i may have to dip into the good guy side for a few.

My vote is orks too.

You can make a stompa and with a bit of conversion make it look like the technodrome!

I was thinking of trying to do a technodrome as a battle wagon, but a stompa could work aswell....

A dirtyier option with a lot cool conversion options would CSM... Khorne berserkers with katanas och hoods.... Cool DP´s with big samurai swords and skeleton faces under the hood and so on... Then you till can use some of the ideas as SonofTerra pointed out.

Definitely Orks. The Foot Clan was a seemingly endless goon squad and so are the boyz. Krang as a Deff Dread is insanely cool. Leatherhead would convert well too. So much potential awesomeness. Good luck!

I think Space Marines beacuse they fit the area much more than Orks. Orks are cumbersome creatures who love fighting and our loud. Some Space Marines are silent and deadly for example use of speeders.
