I'm sorry,

I enjoy this forum to read and for information. I post casually.

But the forum:
1) begs you to vote on folks gallery items
2) tells you it's time to post... even tells me where I'm welcome to post when I have nothing to say.
3) tells me I seem to be enjoying myself.

Bleh.... I get that the forum is a place for interaction and community but you can only push it so far. People will post when the want/need to. You can't "force" community... encourage sure... but force... no.

I'd like to see others thoughts on this nagging message... Effin ridiculous.

It's just a message suggesting that you might try posting. As you indicated, it is just encouragement, there is absolutely nothing 'forcing' you (or anyone else) to post or do anything else you don't want to do.

As for the fact that you posted and the message is still displaying. . .you've got to give it a little while for the database to recognize your post!

If I hadn't posted would it eventually go away on its own?

The forum has recognize my post now and recongizes me as a "regular" poster and is now encouraging me to be a DCM. sigh....

I'm afraid if I sign up to be a DCM the forum will encourage me to name my next child Dakka Dakka Gemrich.
