Painlord Titan Princeps of Slaanesh

I was to arrive to him having the board already set up. He'd placed a bastion/bunker in each opposite corner of the board, for a total of 2. He then made an interesting setup. The center of the board was completely void. One of the bastions had a building complex built up around it with a "lane" down the center, with craters in the spaces between for a wide difficult terrain setup. The other used every rock piece of scenery the store had as well as some tank traps to make another lane in front of it, this time the lane was lined with impassible rocks! So each bastion was surrounded but for a single alleyway, one with difficult and one with impassible terrain lining them. I chose the board edge where the impassible-road bastion was on, he deployed his devastators in the difficult-lane bastion, and we began.
His strategem: Escape hatch and ammunition store
Mine: Ground Observer, placed in the center of the board.
I rolled a 6 for my firestorm [I've actually yet to see anyone not roll a 6 for their firestorm!], but they did little. He'd only deployed his devastators, so all I could do was hit bastions. Even with my ground observer I didn't get that many hits, and those that penetrated only stunned them, though that would keep them both silent for turn 1.
My first turn saw both princes, the aspiring champion terminator squad, the vindicator, and the rhino-mounted noisemarines come on. The vindicator drove on 12" from my drop zone and popped smoke, angling against the terrain so that anyone trying to get rear shots would have to land in difficult terrain, take a chance of mishap, or box themselves in uselessly. My rhino actually found it could fit into the small space left behind his bastion! It nestled itself in that corner and missed with its combi-meltagun.
My princes both landed spot-on in front of the bastions, one each. My terminators scattered directly away from the difficult-road bastion, and ran to spread out. Both princes assaulted the bastions and did little, though the one near difficult-bastion ripped off its interceptor gun.
His first turn, EVERYTHING came on. He rolled randomly for deployment as the defender does, and only the typhoon and the scouts came on the opposite-to-my-DZ edge. EVERYTHING else came on from my drop zone. I was a bit nervous at this point. His assault squad flew over his impassable wall, shot and wounded the daemon prince, then charged. The typhoon shot and blew up the vindicator with a side armor shot, despite my smoke launchers. The crusader moved on and sat still, behind the vindicator and the wall of impassable terrain. The rhino came on next to it, ready to shoot the vindicator in the rear with meltaguns, but didn't need to. The combat between the assault squad w/ captain and daemon prince resulted in the prince taking a single wound, then another from losing the combat. NOTHING else happened. On the other side of the board, the other daemon prince that was still in contact with the bastion annihilated it, killing two devastators inside and pinning them all.
My second turn, the rest of my forces showed up. The other NM squad deepstruck next to the typhoon and downed it with a penetrating hit from their doomsiren. My obliterators landed on target next to the landraider, blew it up, then assaulted the terminators inside, killing one and losing 2. They failed another save, and the squad was down to 1 wounded oblit for his turn. My other NM squad got out of their rhino and charged the impassable-road bastion, while my other terminator squad dropped next to the embroiled assault squad and prince, then charged right in. The captain slew the prince at no cost to himself, but the terminators really beat down on the assault squad, killing 5 with no loss. The squad failed their morale test, and though the terminators couldn't chase, the combat was taking place so close to the board edge that they went right off. On the other side, the prince and terminators gunned down and finished off the last of the devastators and the inquisitor with them in assault, taking that objective. That terminator squad played no further part in the battle, but the daemon prince ran off full speed from the combat to help out the other side.
His turn, the tactical squad got out of their rhino, and charged the oblits, which were killed by his assault terminators. His scouts on the opposite side of the board ran away from the noisemarines. His units consolidated and prepared to make a run on the objective - but they had to go the long way around, thanks to his impassable terrain wall!
On my turn the terminators moved to the end of the impassable terrain wall to where it thinned out into a building, and opened fire on his terminators, killing zero. The noisemarines on the other side of the board moved closer and shot at the scouts, killing 3 while the other squad got inside impassable-lane bastion. The other prince flew and ran, trying to get into the fight.
On his turn his marines embarked into their rhino and moved forward, firing meltas at my terminators, killing one. His terminators moved up, then charged through the building at mine. Going first really helped, but his saves were terrible. Failed 2 thunderhammer saves and two lightning claw saves, and his final thunderhammer killed one terminator before being dragged down by the chainfist. Squad consolidated closer to his rhino.
Turn 4, My terminators charged his rhino while the prince moved closer. Noisemarines wiped out the scout squad. Terminators ripped apart the rhino, killing one marine in the explosion. On his turn the squad moved around the terminators, killed none with their guns, then charged. The terminators swung first thanks to their icon, and killed 5 marines. The remainder killed a terminator in return, then ran, a hair away from the board edge. On turn 5, not content to let them leave peacefully, the prince finally made his presence known, lashing them back and charging with the terminators to wipe them out.
Result: Massacre
Some terrible saves on his part and good ones for my terminators really put the nail in the coffin in this fight, but I think that his plan of surrounding one of his bastions with impassible terrain was a mistake - his reserves couldn't get in to support it really, and it allowed my terminators to take him down piecemeal, especially once the distracting obliterators had taken care of the landraider and thus half his mobility. If he had just left a gap in the wall and not made the "lane" extending outward, he'd have gotten around it faster.
So in the campaign I claimed his territory, adding to the ever-expanding empire of Slaanesh!
