Hey Guys,

I bought a second AOBR kit to make a few more units cheaply, I didn't need another warboss so I cut his powerclaw and control box off and put it on a regular Nob. The codex allows for nobz to carry a power claw. I also cut off the warboss's shoulder skull and put it on a flag post... so here it is.... comments?

Painted using the evil sunz colour scheme...

Clean conversion and great attention to detail in connecting the wires to a power pack on his hip. You've done a good job in balancing a vibrancy of color with the necessary grittiness of the Orks. I'd love to see some pics of painted squads.

BTW, don't leave that base bare! Basing is the easiest step but has a huge impact on a fig's appearance, IMO.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the comments. I am very new to wargaming (only played about 10 games or so). I have been building 2 armies at the same time (AOBR) so that my family can play. So far I have completed

AOBR kit
1 trukk
1 rhino
5 Nobz (2nd AOBR kit)
1 painboy and grot

The only other models that I will be completing from the 2nd AOBR kit is a 2nd squad of terminators, 3 more deffkoptas and the dreadnaught. (Financially it made more sense to buy the 2nd AOBR kit to get all these models) However, the remaining models will then be bits so yes I do intend to do much more conversion work in the future. THis is my to do list...

1 dreadnaught
3deffkoptas
5 termies
1 trukk ( I was given a trukk for last christmas)

and then I would like to purchase a land raider to transport my termies..... watch for customizations on that! (If you haven't seen my rhino, you really should check it out, turned out very cool

Anyhoo here is a pic of my first koptas (the rest of the pics are here http://www.flickr.com/photos/ff151/sets/72157612903765331/
