Regarding the vanilla 5th edition space marine codex when using the power of the machine spirit can you shoot your sponsons at different targets or are they considered one weapon? If you can a Land Raider Reedemer could burn so bad. Might as well just catch the table on fire.

Sponsons are two separate weapon systems for all intents and purposes. Feel free to flame two different targets if you're otherwise allowed to use the machine spirit.
