I was just wondering what everyone's favorite MEQ Armies were, and why?

Furthermore, i fully accept that some of you out there play xenos scum, i just can't comprehend the fact. Nonetheless, i'm just wondering what everyone likes about their favorite chapter.

You just couldn't handle the truth. God knows why anyone would want that cookie anyway. I can only imagine what foul demons possess such a thing as to make it stand on its side like that. I prefer my cookies horizontal and without eternal damnation. - Ridcully

Either that or take a 4+ cover save from all of GW's red tape blocking LoS to the way to play it. - Kitzz

When you say Xeno scum it makes me want to scream Tyranids as they are cool nuff said.

I am trying to suggest sisters but they really aren't MEQ's even if the do have all the weapons marines

So i'm stuck saying Marines i like the Storm Hawks colour scheme on Lexicanum its basic but it means i can have a white marine army without using white scars as people seem to tire of fighting armies that are the basic. At least that what i seem to notice.

I rather like regular marines. I have 2500ish of a Salamanders Successor Chapter. Just started orks, and the difference in play style is crazy. Just rely on numbers to deal with wounds rather than saves. I also enjoy the randomness of Orks. makes things crazy.

I always though Grey Knights look the coolest by far with all their bling.

I just can’t recall seeing them actually win a game.

Congratulations, that was the stupidest remark the entire wargaming community has managed to produce in a long, long time.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

Pre Heresy? Emperor's Children. Traitors? Iron Warriors. Loyalists? Imperial Fists. Non-marine MEq? Not a whole lot of options there, so Necrons.

Hahahaha. Thanks for all of your replies, everyone.

While Grey Knights are (obviously) the most awesome Space Marine force ever organized, (goes without saying, really,) i was mostly wondering why people choose certain codex astartes marine forces over others, if not just for the paint job.

So yeah, corpses, MEQ is not the word i was looking for.

Thousand Sons, for the pseudo-Egyptian imagery and hands-down the best fluff in the game (IMHO)

Oh, and in the immortal words of Andy Chambers describing the 3.5 codex

An army with 2 wounds has a lot going for it.

Or was that Pete Haines?

I like Space Wolves and Dark Angels the best out of the space marine chapters. Eldar seem cool and all too, but I think I'll stick with the green (or grey) fighting machines
