I've always liked the Emperors Children, they had a proud fall to Chaos and always looked the most daemonic worshipping out the lot of the traitor legions. The colour scheme they have can be nice as well.

I've thought about doing a army for them, though I want something different from my Iron Warriors which relie on my heavier units such as Terminators, Daemon Princes, Obliterators & Defilers. Here's what I come up with:

HQ

1 x Chaos Sorceror - Mark of tzeentch, melta bombs & bolt of change

1 x Chaos Sorceror - Mark of tzeentch, familiar, gift of chaos & doombolt

Elites

9 x Chosen w/ Rhino - Mark of Slannesh, 3 x power weapons & 1 x power fist

9 x Chosen w/ Rhino - Mark of Slannesh, 4 x meltaguns & 2 x melta bombs

Troops

10 x Chaos Marines w/ Rhino - Icon of Slannesh, 2 x meltaguns - champion w/ power weapon & melta bombs

10 x Chaos Marines w/ Rhino - Icon of Slannesh, 2 x meltaguns - champion w/ power weapon & melta bombs

10 x Chaos Marines w/ Rhino - Icon of Slannesh, 2 x meltaguns - champion w/ power weapon & melta bombs

Heavy Support

1 x Chaos Predator - lascannon turret & lascannon sponsons

1 x Chaos Predator - lascannon turret & lascannon sponsons

I thought Sorcerors are more E.C's because they can cast some good body morphing powers, seems Slannesh followers love body associated things I thought they'd do good. Now before anyone says they've got mark of tzeentch thats because I want them to close in combat, and a 4+ invulnerable save is better than a 5+. They are also a bit better than the Space Marine Chaplain, so may as well match the save which is reasonable. One Sorceror is geared up for a anti tank role with bolt of change and melta bombs, the other is close combat with gift of chaos and doombolt for that assaulty goodness, throw in a familiar and I'm using two psychic powers so if the gift of chaos is no good against high numbers doombolt might be.

Chosen are geared up to match the Sorcerors. One unit is close combat with power weapons and a power fist, the other unit anti vehicle with four meltaguns and two lots of melta bombs. Get both of these to outflank and rear tank armour is exposed and enemy units are caught between a assault or fire power of the main bulk of the army.

Troops run aronud tearing into things with meltaguns, I've kept the champ with power weapon and melta bombs as Slannesh followers would want to be quick, not swinging slow power fists. Mark of slannesh is just to make them Slannesh, champ would also strike before MEQ's.

The Preds would be firing bases, though I'm sure about them as I don't want them to be static as they can be easily taken out. I might drop the side sponsons which would give me a Vindicator and I can move and shoot as the primary weapon can still fire.

Any thoughts?

How many points is this?
Looks quite interesting.
But the Chosen can eventually outflank so that I'd let the Sorcerers join the CMS squads.

2,000 points editted title, should have put that.

The Sorcerors will outflank with the Chosen, they compliment each Chosen unit.

I'm tempted to have just turret lascannons and grab a vindicator - shame no points for daemonic possession, unless I drop the marks of slannesh.

The Chosen loose the capability to infiltrate if the Sorcerer joins them.

Thats a fair point, something I forgot about. Also, I didn't know this, but infiltrating units which deploy in a vehicle cannot infiltrate :(

That's true.
But a unit with the USR infiltrate can outflank and if the unit has a transport, it can outflank even if its mounted in the transport.

Well, Noise Marines cannot take meltas.
Their weapons are anti-infantry and not anti-tank.
I'd keep the CSM w/ MoS.

I love Noise Marines. Who cares if they can't get meltas? your running chosen already I say throw in 2 squads of Noise marines kitted out with blasters, sirens, and that other thingger they get. That AP 3 flamer they get is simply awesome! Not only that, your going for flufftastic, so it'd fit more. I say 2 squads of noise marines, 8 strong, fully kitted, and 2 CSM squads. More fluff, and more fun

Well, blastmasters are anti-light tank and anti-infantry, but not anti-heavy tank like meltas.

I think I might be able to squeeze a 3rd Vindicator in and have a line breaker squadron

If I do this army I'm hoping to do plenty of slannesh conversions, any ideas for some?
