Does anyone know where I could find flexible, durable tubing that looks like this?

I'm hoping to use something like that for my killerkans. Thanks!

Even with the right tags it doesn't work. Anyway if you want robot arms like bender get some bass strings. Automatically Appended Next Post: Wait, go with the tripod instead. I have one of those somewhere they're pretty good. Might be annoying to cut through them though. But they would be much better. Bass strings would work for cables if you want to add some to them.

These look to be scratch built by coiling wire around stiff rod.

Yeah that one is awesome, it's in the back of the Witch Hunters codex, but with a white background.

Try a shop that sells beads and other jewelery supplies.
This is a useful little tool for making this sort of stuff, very quick and very easy. (My gf has one and I steal it from time to time)

I would say guitar wire, but that's too big....hmmm....aha! There used to be Lego pieces for heavy cabling that would work great...lets see if I can find a picture...dang, I can't seem to find one, but they came with one of their outer space lines a few years ago, you can probably find them still in current sets...

One method: Use heat to get plastic rod soft and bend to shape. Take plumbing solder and wrap around the plastic rod after it sets. Paint.
Personally I like the segmented approach more than the coiled spring approach the Killa Kan above uses. Take the roller wheels from a Imperial Tank and string together to look like a segmented arm.

Take several strands of wire whatever guage (thickness) you desire.
Fix one end of the cluster in a desk vice, and the other in an electric drill.
The drill will coil the wire pretty much perfectly, if you had the tension right on all the wires. it will be pretty sturdy, whilst also being easily bent.
Guitar string isn't good unless it's fixed into both ends.. it doesn't bend well, and is too springy to hold shape.
For better results; don't use seperate strands. fold the same wire back on itself.

Another source of wire is electrical solid core copper wire. It's relatively stiff but softer than steel wire. You have to strip the plastic insulation off. Very cheap from DIY stores.
You could also look at railway and ship modelling catalogues. They have all kinds of odd little parts available.
