Hey guys, quick question to all you folk with the new Space Hulk.

The miniatures are awesome, but how do the compare scale wise to regular 40K models? Could they conceivabey be converted to be part of a 40K force?

Thx

A new day, a new time zone.

They're the exact same size.

They're the same. Same scale and everything. You just need to put them on normal bases.

The genestealers seem MUCH larger, but I have only seen them on sprue, not assembled.

Didn't seem much bigger to me. Some of them are splayed out with their arms going everywhere (must be some sort of rave party on that hulk), but otherwise they're still the old Monkey Nostril 'Stealers we know and love.

H', it's frigging dark on a Hulk. I'd like to see you find your way around while trying to avoid tripping over your many arms.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

'Stealers collect like items all together and stack them in as neat piles as possible Their bare feet get cold on the decking.

So, genestealers are just extragalactic raver ferrets?
(wave your arms in the air like you just don't care!)

I had a ferret once that used to do this (collect like objects together).

Pens went under the couch.
coins went under my bed.

Sometimes they even trip over misplaced skulls.
Can you blame them from wanting neatly stacked piles of skulls?

They have to stack the skulls or they wont get the space hulk ISO9000 certified. And lets not even discuss the lack of safety rails or paint.

Things Space Hulk has taught me:

1. Genestealers have OCD, specifically with skulls and helmets.
2. Space Hulks are very dark.
3. Genestealers love Shakespeare.
4. The darkness is only made worse by all the strobe lighting the 'Stealers use for their sweet rave parties.
5. 'Stealers all have their arms out in weird directions because they:
5a. ...are tripping over a pile of skulls/helmets that they missed in the dark.
5b. ...are feeling their way around in the dark.
5c. ...are dancing.
6. There are very strict regulations regarding what counts as a Space Hulk and what doesn't. Thankfully, the aforementioned OCD Genestealers suffer from actually helps them gain this accreditation.
7. The Imperium is an unjust and corrupt institution who persecutes innocent Genestealers because of their OCD.

Some are small, some are huge. It varies from model to model.
