Maybe the pm had something to do with him dying? or maybe that he hasnt turned up or commented or even PM'ed for ages? or maybe your right and he will come back, unless he turns up again youll never know

(eckeon) "Well if i still had my body there are several things i would have suggested, but i guess we could still talk."

Seeing the demise of the golden man, Edon returns to casting on the undead hoard. He casts at a more usual pace now, so not to tire himself out compleatly. Spells hurtle into the undead ranks, blasting apart the animated corpses of the forces of darkness.
Darath also begins to target the zombies, his vines tearing their bodies apart.
Orac and the other archers re-double their efforts, as they see that the undead they hit are now acctualy staying dead.

The undead army is sson wiped out and the Daemons seeing that they are defeated retreat to their fortress

Edon jumps onto his horse, and then he, along with the rest of the forces of light charge towards the fortress, determined to capture it and banish the forces of darkness.

As you get closer the earth erupts around you and massive centipedal creatures burst out of the ground, grabbing Federation soldiers and hauling them back into the earth. The ground is so chewed up by these attacks that you cant find a way forwards through the shattered dirt.

Edon casts lightning wave to discover where the centipieds have gone.

Tyranic stands slowly after the explosion of light. His mind numbed by the feeling of success. He had done it, finished the King of Dust. His mind wandered over the events and then he shook his head, amending his mental statement, they all had finished the King of Dust.

He heard the elf call on his party and the federation to charge. Marta turned yelling at them to come back but to no avail. He held his knights in check and the Satyrs but watched in horror as the federation horsemen were sucked into the earth. He closed his eyes exhaling slowly. So much death. He was amazed that more of the undead wernt rising, he suppossed that th Undeathknight was stronger than he had thought...

He feels a buzzing on the back of his neck looks around and his eyes rest on a disturbance in the dust. He kneels down and uneaths the Undeathknights massive golden khopesh. The weapon was easily 4 foot long and creully curved. Marta immediatly dropped the weapon uttering litanies of purity on his hands.
"Forgive me Phobos for touching the tainted blade, my heart lies with you and you alone always and forever in the halls of light. Forgive me Phobos..."

He motined for two knights to come forwards and take the weapon away, the two men gingerly rolling the weapon onto a purified cloth and rolling the weapon into the bundle. The swathed blade is then carried away for the clerics of the order to examine.

He looks over the red sand plains of the Daemon-keep's plains and his heart throbs. Hundreds of thousands of dead lie on the plains. Some federation. Some undead of other sources. But there is a conspicuous lack of daemons, but he knows the reason. Those cursed devils return to thier own plane of existance if they die.

Tyranic sighs heavily and drops to one knee, and picking up a handful of dust rubbs the red sands between his hands. He raises his visor as he sees the ill fated charge returning and looks at the new herald of Phobos, Ranun of Crisela.
"This battle is not over yet my friend"

Edon signals to the rest of the troops to return to Tyranic Marta, before flooding the tunnels the centipieds went into with magical flame. As soon as the magic had left his staff, he turned his horse around and galloped back to Tyranic.

The knight waited until the most prodigous of the knightas and party members was around him, m=namely Ranun, Edon, Rarora, and his two most powerful deputies. The Machina-Demigods Fendust, and Forgrod, the Demigods of shadow and darkness, the partial absense of light and the total absense of light. They were recruits from the far borders of the continent where Phobos is worshipped as a deity of destruction and power.

The two men were more like Paladins than knights, each wielding a pair of longswords, the whitesteel making a stark contrast to their grey and black armour.

Tyranic steps into the middle of the circle of warriors and mages and begins to speak
"We have won a great victory today, but, as our esteemeed mage has discovered the fortress of Krak-thuraz, Daemon Keep in the old tongue, is protected by more than walls alone. But the walls are the key to the equation. We lost our siege engines in the battle and we cant afford to wait to repair them, that means that we are going to have to destroy the walls in person. As paladins and knights we can use holy magic to bring down the walls, which are of Daemonic origin. The mage here I imagine has plenty of magic capable of tearing them down and I'm sure the Dwarf has been pulling down and putting up fortifications since his coming of age. Im sure you all know how to best use your own particular talents, but what we need to do is work them into a cohesive whole. that we may bring down the fortress walls in time for the rest of our army to simoultaneously rush through the gap, before the warlocks behind the walls can put any more obstacles in our way.

Edon reached for his spell book, and began to search its pages for a spell capable of bringing down the walls of the great fortress. He had almost reached the end of the book when he turned a page and found the perfect solution.

'Darastaroths Ancient Incantation of Holy Unbinding and Destruction'

This spell of ancient power and might
Clears darkness, shadow and returning light
When bringing down walls of unholy power
The deamons of death it will overpower

Tyranic takes the book reverentially in his hands as he looks upon the words. A small frown creases his forhead as he notices the magisters name. Ferul Gleyreal.

"... This spell was written by the god of messengers and darkness... where did he find the inspiration for such a verse... No matter. This spell will serve you well, no matter the provenance.

"How many other mages are there in the army?" Edon said to Tyranic, "We will need all the power we can get to destroy these walls."

Maybe three, and none of them capable of wielding that spell. There are not alot of Human and Orc mages elf, and since your ilk left the federation some decades ago we have been lacking on that front"

"Bring them to me any way. Bring anyone of any magical power," Edon said, "Even if they can't help directly, they can channel their power into me and boost my cast."
"Darath," Edon said turning to the druid, "I want you to prepare as many potions as possible. We may have cases of exhaustion amoung the lesser mages after this."

Darath nods, "Of course Edon, I will begin right away

As the casters arrived, they began to gather around Edon. He stood in the middle of an arc of mage, priests, knights and even smiths. Anyone with magical power stood ready to supply their power. While he waited, he had prepared incantations to amplify the power of the spell. He began to chant the beginning of the spell, but he let the power dissapate as Tyranic signaled to him to wait.

Tyranic groans internally as he sees the bolt hit the fortress walls, the walls crumble to dust but almost immediatly the warlocks begin sending Daemons through the breach, the wall area that he had hit, and destroyed, was not large enough to truly make the fortress open to a target, it would take many more strikes before the fortress walls came down.

Tyranic stalks over to the mage and resists the urge to backhand him
"Did I not just say that all oft he forces should be in place and simoultaneously attack the walls before ANYTHING happened?!"

Okay, there are only a few points of weakness in this wall, and i have never worked with such a daemon tainted wall, i will assume it will have similar strengths. Assuming that, there is a single place where some well placed explosives will cause massive destruction. Gesturing towards a place where the wall was linked to other parts of the wall by long stone rows. “Granted, it won’t be easy, but enough boom there, and the rest of the wall will crumble under its own weight.

Turning to a group of lightly armed men with bows, I need these ingredients “…” thanks I want it soon. These things mixed together, will make a much larger version on my exploder, and when placed in strategic places at that spot will bring it down.

"Ahem, hur, hum... Well then... what would you like to talk about my dear?"

(eckeon) "Seeing as you are the one with legs think you should get some form of topic for us, perhaps you should wander the camp, there may be someone who can help us with our topic issues."

While the archers go off to gather the substances required for the explosives, Edon sits on a rock near to where Tyranic is organising the assault. With him, sits Orac Nelang, and Halan Nuthroth, leader of the armies archers.
Edons staff is glowing gently as he enchants the arrows of his freind, and then those of the army of phobos. He concentrates hard as he trys to enchant more and more arrows at a time, eventualy managing to cast on 25 arrows with a single spell. He drinks an energy potion, given to him by Darath, and continues to enchant the arrows to be more effective against the deamons.
