How do-able do you reckon it is for me to convert a Daemon Prince 2 have a snake-like lower half (like the Laer if you know em') using the Daemon Prince Upper and arms and the Red Terrors Lower Body and maybe scything talons and Green Stuff?

However I am a complete rookie with conversions like this, but I could always ask my brother or maybe even commision someone...

anyway, please tell me what you think and wether I could manage it myself... Thanks

Well you would need to pin the bottom half to the base then the top of the guy to the snake part, then use a bit of green stuff to fill i the gaps and make it seemless.

You might try it but if its your first attempt at green stuff you might fiddle on some old minis first.

I'd also be wary of how thin the bottom half of the Red Terror model is in comparison to the top half of the Daemon Prince model. If you're not careful about the way you go about building up the connection between the two (and I'd probably beef up some of the lower half as well) then it might look awkward.

It is certainly doable though, and I hope you post up with some pics once you finish it!

4 and 2 are not words. Stop using them that way. You're not a slow. Unless you are... Still stop it.

I think the Red Terror and Daemon Prince parts will match up nicely. What would worry me is making the upper half of your conversion look like it belongs in a Slaanesh army. I always thought the Daemon Prince model is very friendly to Undivided or Khorne players (yay for me), but would require conversion work to fit in with the other powers. You might want to consider a head swap, and possibly cutting the arms at the elbows and replacing the upper arms with something more elegant, maybe like the arms off a Fiend of Slaanesh.

I don't feel like running down to my basement to look at the box, but what about that mid-90's Slannesh Demon Prince, Azazel?

Cheers for the advice Dexter Kong, I was also worried about the two parts not matching... I think I'd like to keep the menacing-looking head but I will definitely have to do something to make it more Slaanesh, I was thinking maybe changing the horns into, say, tentacles or whatnot with Green Stuff to give it the elegant look. But hey, one problem at a time eh?

I was using 2 and 4 simply because it's easier... and yes I am a slow, but still you can shove your grammatical advice where your lousy attitude came from

Yay! Another friend!
Thank you for the correct usage and also for the sarcasm. Both were greatly appreciated.

Tentacle horns is an interesting idea, but don't tentacles seem a bit more Nurgle-esque? I dunno. Either way, done right, I think that they could be pretty cool.

I'd say look to the Keeper of Secrets for horn inspiration. Slaanesh horns seem to be more for decoration than for anything functional. I'd go with a set of ribbed, curving horns, possibly that mimic the shape and style of Slaanesh's icon. Depending on your level of sculpting and converting skill, you could load them up with piercings and jewelry and whatnot. Also, a weapon swap is definitely in order.

Chickenlegs, you can try doing what i did to make a snake lower half for my carnifex and my hive tyrant. I have pics in my gallery. I used a toy i found called skeleflex. The only thing is i may make you modle HUGE, if you use the spinal portions like i did. I would guess if you used the smaller arm portions that come with the kit you could make a smaller tail that is reposable.

Just my $.02

Then try not to sound like an overweening prick when you're calling folks on it, a gentle reminder in your post should be sufficient, it makes you sound less like you dwell in that basement you mentioned on a full-time basis.

The rule on good grammar is not greater than the #1 rule of dakka, be polite. You are currently breaching that.

Yeah, I was thinking of the tentacles or what I'm going to describe as 'dangly bits' similar to those on the back of the Forge World KOS (as Dexterkong mentioned), I imagine those would look very Slaanesh and easy to do, with those two characteristics being key to this build!
But those skelefex parts Fallenbourne mentioned do look COOL! I just doubt they'll be as Slaaneshi or simple as what I've got planned, but they could be great applied elsewhere, thanks for the idea though, I may suggest em' for my brothers Khorne army...

[Almost] apology accepted its OK, you probably shouldnt bother mentioning it to people though, for the harsh responses (ie. mine and Stompa's) you would get! and frankly as I'm studying English at a pre-uni level I'd rather not have my grammar corrected

Thanks for help all
