My apocalypse dream team, World Eaters theam:

My own Emperor battle titan custom to look like a spider, special rules I added to it are it can hold 16 units per leg, a useable landing pad on its back, and Demonic Posession.

244 Khorne Bazerkers, broken into 39 grupes, 2 plazma pistols per grupe.

40 chosen, 4 teams of 10. 1 icon of Khorne, 1 lazcannon, 4 meltaguns per team. 1 Rhino with dozerblade, demonic posession and havoc launcher per team.

40 regular Chaos Space Marines, 8 teams of 5. 1 icon of Khorne, 1 melta gun, 1 aspiring champion per team.

16 Obliterators, 8 teams of 2.

99 Terminators, broken into 29 grupes. All are 99 are aspiring or w/e you call it for termies, each has mark of Khorne. Each team has 1 Reaper Autocannon, 1 chain fist, and 2 combi meltas, all termies with out chain fists have power fists.

25 Terminator Lords. Each with Mark of Khorne, Combi melta, deamon wepon.

1 Karn the Betrayer.
1 Abadon the Dispoiler.
2 Demon prince with wings.

240 Bloodletters 12 grupes of 20. 4 Chosen have icons, 8 CSM have icons, 20 blood letter to be summoned for each team.

8 Grater Demons. There are 8 CSM aspiring champions to summon them.

8 Dreadknots. 4 with Lazcannons, 4 with Multi Meltas.

(All the modles inside all of these vehicles have already been added to the list above.)

4 Valcrys, to hold 12 Zerkers each.

3 Stormlords to hold 9 Termies, 1 Termie lord, 20 zerkers each.

8 Land Raiders, 4 with 5 termies each the other 4 with 10 zerkers each.

8 Drop pods, to hold 4 termies and 1 termie lord each.

8 Dreadclaw Drop Pods, to hold 5 zerkers and 5 csm each and protect them after they land untill the next turn when the modles can move shoot and assault.

8 Dreadknot Drop Pods, um.. for the dreadknots.

8 Deathstorm Drop Pods, 4 with wirlwind missile launchers 4 with assalt cannons.

The 8 legs of the Emporer Battle Titan will have 8 zerkers, 3 termies and 1 termie lord each.

2 Brass Scorpions

1 Khorne Tower of Skulls

1 Shadowsword

4 Vindicators, each demonicly possesed with havoc launchers.

4 Predators, with all the beefed up trimmings.

So, this is my dream team. And the points add up to just about 40,000!

My stratagy is: drop all 8 dreadknots and all 8 dreadclaws, deep strike 4 of the 8 teams of oblitorators first turn, then run all my troop carrying tanks as far as thell go, all my super heavys as far as thell go and still shoot.

My plan is to leave the left and right flanks alone aswell as the middle (the sides are for my scorpions, the middle is for my tower of skulls)

Clump all the dreadknots together in an area with a lot of heavy support.

Drop my dread claws in areas with a lot of troops or troop carryers.

Use oblits first attack to pop any rhinos or other troop carryers.

Infiltrate all of my chosen, close to heavy support aswell behind the dreadknots.

And for the fitst turn that's it.

By the seconed turn all my heavy support after moving 6" should be pretty close for action.

Drop the termie pods and wepon pods, let all of them take there shots.

Unload the dreadclaws and summon all deamons both lesser and greater that I can.

Run the zerks into anything that can bleed.

Drop off the zerks in the valcrys (3 of the 4)

Deepstrike the other 4 oblitz.

Move the chosen up.

And that's basically it.

Kill as manny super heavys as I can with the brass scorpions and the emoporer as I can, if anythin gets to close to the emporer, unleash all the termies and zerkers.

What do you guys think?

To get all that is one grand dream, but that will be insane on the money. How much money would that total anyways? At least a couple thousand I would think. If you could do that then I would love to see it. Good luck man, because you will need it for this legion.

Well if I bought each pice individually it would be $8,000 cause of all of the forgeworld items, but I plan to make the emporer from scratch, use a lot of ebay and a lot of ccg armory.

Of course I woukd never just buy 1 of anything then make a mold of it and make as manny as I need for free, cause that would be immoral.

I'm not even sure if you would need strategy as any battle that size boils down to spamming each other and relying having the more tougher spam.....

It sounds similar to something a friend is thinking of, minus the spider that ate god and kicked Cthulhu in the teeth of course.

Honastly, this army is going to be 40,000 points and each of my friends has about 10,000, so id have to get everyone together to experince this armys true glory, but I serisually think that the only way to beat this army is if you stacked aganst it. Wich would be extremly difficult because all of my modles would be down your theoat by the beginning of 3rd turn, and I've broken all of my guys into as small of grupes as possible, wich minimises casulitys due to rapid fire and maximises special wepons. And to actually stack aganst my army you'd have to spend several thousand dollers, and ur army would be usless aganst anyone eles so I think I'm going to be winning a lot of battles because I just don't see any holes in this stratagy.

I think a qaurd army of equal points would just crush this army and it wouldn't be stacking against you.
It would be something like 40 LRD/40 LRBT/ 40 Basalisk
something like 3000 infantry with Laz cannon Heavy weapon teams 30 Commisars. Maybe 5 Super Heavy Tanks and a Rever Titan. I don't think anything could beat that gaurd army. lol.

I think your highly underestimating the emporer titan, brass scorpions and tower of skulls, imma run my scorpions into every tank I can sink my teeth into, untill you eventually decided to distroy it, at wich time its dooms day reactor is going to take a painful chucnk of your army with it ×2 and the tower of skulls was designed to extreminate infantry and every 25 peion guardsmen it kills it regains a structure point, and >if< you do kill it it also has a dooms day reactor. Oh and my emporer battle titan has 8 HUGE wepons one of wich being a vortex support missile wich I'm going to shoot first shooting phase and take a pie plate out of your neat little formations, hmm am I forgetting anything? Oh yea the rest of my army.

40,000 points of Orb Strikes would pwn this list... and cost a hell of alot less.

I'm shure I'd loose to 100 baneblades aswell.

That list is super assaulty, and honestly, if anyones insane enough to try and play a 40k point apoc game... good luck! The amount of time, money, and resources (not to mention how long it would take to paint!) this army would take alone would make it highly unreasonable.

I could see someone whos been playing chaos for 10-15 years having this, but starting up... No. Absolutally not. I know one guy whos been playing all of 15 years and has 12k points and he said he can't imagine ever buying more. Seeing as you may play with this list all of ONE time, its just not worth it. I say build a decent 10k point list and have at it many times over 40k points that you won't play often at all.

Orbital Bombardment is an option for DH and WH armies.
Basically, if you take an inquisitor, in normal games, you can drop one S10 AP1 large blast per turn, on a preselected part of the board.
However, in apoc, you can take as many as you want.
40,000 points of them would cover basically any board you played on, and thus every unit in your army would be recieving a S10 AP1 hit per turn.

Hmm, I suppose fielding an entire elder war host of Howling Banshees and anything that can haul Brightlances may work.

I got into warhammer 8 years ago with tyranids, I did not play at all, just buy, build, paint, and admire. Now I'm into playing aswell.

I'm going to build this army for less then $1000 and every wendsday, Friday, and saterday we play apocolypse games at gw. Of course people won't want to just fight me all the time, but I'm shure I can get my whole army in once a week.
