Hi.

Now that my IG army is sold, and the dark eldar are finished..I've decided to move onto an army that has been waiting to be painted for ages...my SoB army =].

I decided to set myself a challenge on the 1st of September, and that was to:

1) Paint my SOB army to a reasonable standard and based by the 13th of September so that I can play in a local tournament,
2) Add a lot more detail and finish it hopefully by 31st of October (another local tournament then),
3) Really go to town on it from the last month and finish everything properly by the time the UKGT rolls by at the end of November, taking into account that University is starting again and more than likely I will have a few weeks off in between.

I have to paint 1500 points by next weekend effectively, and then 1750 for the tournament in late October.

Here's roughly what I'm aiming to do:
1 Canoness,
4xcelestian squads (1 is a retinue), all in immolators,
2xSOB squads in rhinos,
1xstorm trooper squad,
2xdominion squads in immolators,
2xexorcists,
And finally another immolator!

So after planning the army and deciding what else I needed to buy, progress was slow and I managed to do a fair amount on the exorcists.

The colour scheme is going to be a white + purple one, with a hint of blue here and there. I will finish the side panels and most of the other details + drivers later on.

Okay so now I have 5 1/2 days to do everything but the dominians..luckily I am a fairly quick painter but it will be a rush =P.

Work has now begun on the storm troopers, and I will provide an update when they are completed =].

Oops, I've been so busy I forgot to update the thread lol.

My tournament is tomorrow, hopefully I will get lots of pictures.

Here is how the army looks so far...20 more sisters are just about done, all the bases are done and just have to do the Fleur-de-lis symbols. Then onto 1750 points >_<.

The big bases on the front are my craters for when my tanks explode :p.

Love The explosion markers, bit more blown-up tank stuff would be good but this is fine too.
I cant really get a good pictures of the sisters themselves, Detail Pictures coming?
Love the tanks, looking great!

Looking good; best of luck tomorrow!

I like the craters. Makes me want to buy two of each tank and make a ruined version of each tank in my list; including the markings and weathering. Possibly a tad expensive though

Are you using a GW purple on those Rhino chasis? If so which color is it? Is it a mix? I love that purple shade.

Beautiful army! I would love to build a sisters army similar to that one if I ever finish painting the armies I currently own.

Hi.

Hm I will get better pictures tomorrow I hope of the army during a game-bit better light than now =).

Hopefully I can really finish the craters properly someday, I have a few spare rhinos so I may chop up their chassis.

I'm using liche purple over a black undercoat, just a quick thin layer of it.
