I live in the la Crosse/onalaska area. Looking for someone to play or discuss or anything really. Can be from farther away areas if somewhat near.

If you are ever in Madison area come to the Last Square. We are playing 40k all the time here. There is a tournament this weekend at another store called Misty Mountain. There are 4 or 5 people coming from LaCrosse to play. Actually one is going to Chicago for the Ard Boyz finals. Stop in sometime or track us down online lastsquare.com we have a good 50-60 players here in madison that play in various leagues and tourny's and another 40-50 that stop in to play now and again. Just ask for Norbu the Destroyer and everyone will know who you are looking for.

Me and oldmanultramarine are from wisconsin we play in appleton and fondulac at chemira hoppy shop. We play every saturday in appleton and sundays in fondulac there is a tourney in fondulac this saturday 19th.

I will have to try and make it some of these places, i have a large lack of dedicated 40k players.

I live in Ettrick. Just North of LaCrosse. You are right there are very few 40k players that you can find. There are a few in Winnona but they play at home and not in a shop.

Well if you are looking for someone to play ettrick isnt far, i used to go paintball up there at hidden valley paintball. I have a couple friends here who play, but with college and what not we dont get to play as much anymore.

Well, there is a variation of 3-12 people at green bay/gnome games every tuesday a few arrive at noon, the rest around 4-5 shop closes at 9 i believe.

and for chimera, players come on both friday and saturday, from 10 until 9 on friday and 10 until 6 on saturdays averaging id say at least 8 a day

i second the Last Square reference. Visited the Madison area a few times (have friends there) and Last Square seems pretty good. a few of the regulars gave me a "that guy" vibe, but it wouldn't be a game store if they didn't have "that guy"

I haven't brought my armies here, my army for the Adepticon is just in process and not yet ready for games, so I would have to lend an army.
I've played on polish and austrian tournaments and used english rules, so I know around 99% of the warhammer stuff and need no introductions or stuff like that before playing.

I also live in holmen. The best place to play local people would be River City Hobbies. Its located on main street in LaCrosse. Generally on saturday mornings all the 40k players gather there around noonish. That would probably be a good time to go.

I am usually around most saturdays. We don't really care if your stuff is painted or anything, so feel free to drop by for a game.

Otherwise I can always bring my Tau and let you borrow them for a game or 2. Just let me know ahead of time. (I can't speak for my friends for sure, but I am sure they wouldn't mind lending you an army for the day either. I think we have CSM, Space wolves, IG, tau and eldar between all of us)

Also, to let people know. I am trying to get tournaments up and running. We have a decent sized player base, but 40k tournaments were never a huge priority for the store. I am trying to change that and will be running my 2nd one in November. Probably the first weekend.

And as mrwittwer said, there is usually a couple people around every saturday to get games in.
