I have scant few models that I have painted recently, and thus are worthy of being shown. I'll keep all my Chaos stuff here. Expect all of them to be World Eaters, or at least Khorne devotees. I know, I'm a cliche...
Anyway, the first model I'll post is the Chaos Terminator Lord I bought a year or so when it came out. I put it together, undercoated it, and let it sit on a shelf until I remembered it about a month ago and painted it up. Since it was the first model I would be painting for several years, I decided I wouldn't jump straight back into my old routine, and gave him brass armor instead of the typical blood-red. I think he ended up looking more like an Iron Warrior than a World Eater, but Iron Warriors are cool too so whatever. I didn't want to paint any insignia on his shoulder pad because I was really happy with the smooth finish on it. Not sure if my dinosaur of a camera does it justice, but it made me oddly proud.

Being a Iron warrior is fine because the IW have squads of khorne bezerkers for their assault work. So you have an IW commander that follows khorne a little to closely. Nice paint job.

Honestly I don't worry much about the labels anymore. I'm strictly in it for the modeling and painting aspect of the hobby, so if it fits into an army, great, if not, I don't care. Thanks for the compliment.

Nice paint job, clean crisp highlighting and a very expressive face (prob my fav part of this model!). Robe is well highlighted too!

Here's the last model I painted before I went on my hiatus of about three and a half years. I'm planning on going back and retouching it, but it's fun to pick out the mistakes and look at how much I improved without touching a model. Sloppy hard-edged highlighting, bad drybrushing, paints not thinned down, poor GS work...
