London (work) / Pompey (live, from time to time)

It will help to no end.
for bright coloured armies (yellows, greens, oranges) then it gives a solid base colour to work from, saving you hours of time and still looking good.

Sometimes it can be used to help with shading.
On dark models you can basecoat black, then use a foundation colour as a 1st colour then build from that.

To be honest, i think its a "must have" much the same as the washes.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

Two weeks ago if you had asked this I would say 100% to buy the full set and the new GW inks as well. However, two weeks ago, I saw that Velleho had come out with their own range of colors and inks that look surprisingly like the GW foundations and the inks have an extra color as well. So, no, I would not recommend the GW foundations at this time.

The Orks are the pinnacle of creation. For them, the great struggle is won. They have evolved a society which knows no stress or angst. Who are we to judge them? We Eldar who have failed, or the Humans, on the road to ruin in their turn? And why? Because we sought answers to questions that an Ork wouldn't even bother to ask! We see a culture that is strong and despise it as crude.
