I know the War Hounds come with a certificate of authenticity but do the other races...

Does the Eldar Revenant come with one?
Does the Bio Titan?

Im specifically wondering about the Eldar stuff...Revenants and Cobras.

Not so much the Tyranid Bio Titan though.

When I got my FW Storm Sword, that came with a certificate, as did my Warhound, so I would also guess that they would for all Eldar titans and super heavies.

I've bought two Revenant's from Forgeworld and neither came with a certificate.

I'd say no, they don't come with one.

Can't comment on the Cobra's though as I don't have one.

Just show people your credit card bill /bank statement.

Who cares if your FW model came with a certificate?

For some people that's good enough to justify their exorbitant prices? Or perhaps he bought a used one and was wondering? Cupcakes?

If I could paint to a masterclass standard, I might be tempted to pick up a Titan from FW. Unfortunately I can barely do an adequate "tabletop" job.

The type II scorpion does not come with one but then again i bought it from the L.A battle bunker

I like the certificates, I knw they are pointless really but they look good framed on my gaming room wall.

When I bought my 2nd warhound off ebay it didnt have its cert so I scanned and altered the one I did have to make another.

I used to have a Lucius pattern Baneblade: A1191 The grim and only reminder of that I had one and how uncaring FW is in regards to their kits.

Though the certificate and the accompanying line of "the Emperor has decreed that your army is sanctioned to use *insert vehicle type here*"

Mantas do have a certificate

I heard that too, all I know about it is that it tells you which manta you own...like yours is officially #whatever that they've sold.

Kinda surprised though, you'd think they wouldn't bother to do one for any non-Imperial model, seeing as how they're obviously biased. And from the sound of things they don't, none of the big xenos models besides the manta seem to come with one at all.

Like it was hard to make 2 whole certificates for the Manta? Come on now, and one's still there for Christ's sake, so they can just copy it and put a 3 on it if they ever need to

The certificates are simple printed A4 pages with some bland text on them. Creating copies couldn't be harmful, especially seeing as the plebs of the Amsterdam store were handing them out like candy upon the release day of the plastic Baneblade aeons ago.

It's just a piece of printed paper. Okay, I have mine framed on the wall as well, shut up.

Actually they've sold a lot more mantas than you would think. Someone posted one on Tau Online that was officially #7 if I recall correctly, and last I heard they had sold a lot more than that...about 30-40 at least.

You just don't see people post up fully-painted pics of the things all that often. I guess they take a lot longer to build and paint than one would expect.

I should think that all large FW models would come with the certificate, but if they have the thing, like the Emporer allows you to use this vehicle, or such then 'Nids can't posibly have one unless it says Naaar graaash uuugar fraaaauuuuurt!

It's pretty easy to just hawk up a phlegm onto a piece of paper and put a number somewhere in purple.

Eldar's type II scorpion, Revenant and Giant Squiggoth do not have any.

Maybe aliens don't deserve it, or they don't need a fancy piece of paper to tell them that they are allowed to field said unit.

Maybe the Xenos Forgeworld figures should come with a Birth Certificate like the cabbage patch dolls.

My Great Chaos Dragon didnt come with one but I suppose Its not as expensive as the titans... It costs more then the baneblade type tanks so I guess its just not loved... As someone else said before though, I also bought it at the LA Battle Bunker. not sure if buying it from a store would lose it?
