I swear that tip-toeing elastic bastard needs a kicking.

Other than the collapsing economy, freeing mass murderers and having Gordon Brown for a leader, does the Labour Party want a final reason to put it's self back to unelectable for another 50 years?!?

I swear to God I'll break my promise to my father and vote fething tory.

Labour being gak is no reason to go mad and vote Tory!

The Tories are only looking dimly electable because Labour have screwed themselves and the country.

Join us. Vote Lib Dem. They make good stuff happen. Ask my Gran. In Scotland, thanks to the former Lib/Lab alliance, and the ideas from the Lib Dems, she has a free stair lift, a brand new boiler, and the council will be installing a downstairs toilet. All for free.

Now THAT is worth voting for if nothing else.

They're not free, I paid for them as did MeanGreenStompa and so did you. Once again I call upon the British electorate to SPOIL THEIR BALLOT PAPER! It's the voting equivalent of nuking the site from orbit.

Article wrote:It is, after all, not just supposed fat-cat intermediaries who lose from illegal file-sharing, but the artists and producers themselves , with knock-on effects on the quantity and quality of entertainment in future. Any reasonable solution will need every bit as much carrot as stick.

This carrot stick contraption wouldn't happen to take the form of a redistribution of licenses (at fair prices) to some of the more obvious internet distributors that are waiting in anticipation for such a move, to be sure to be sure.

The ease of distribution alone, and all of the fancy new marketing tricks to be had speak volumes about the insanity that is the film industry. More is always better, and in the case of selling movies without all the damn packaging it is particularly true. So a few companies that pump out DVD cases in china lose a large portion of their business... but I can guarantee that as soon as customers realize how easy an online process can be (where nearly all good deals are found nowadays, hence most consumers hunting the internet for these deals) the whole new industry of realized digital media in its true form is achieved.

Sounds a bit megalomaniac-like really, but it will work and I do digress to be sure. Big balls break walls, tell you what.

Blair a liberal? OMFG dude, he led us into 2 wars and increased the length of time terror suspects could be held without charge. He's the biggest Thatcherite ever. New Labour was the biggest con our country has ever seen.
I'm voting UKIP

Blair certainly wasn't a US a liberal under the US definition.

Perhaps Green Blow Fly meant the European definition, where liberal means 'believes in a liberal economy'... so the priority is ensuring free trade, open markets and minimal government intervention. Blair certainly opened up UK trade, with an emphasis on building an economy around an international financial sector based in London.

But even then its a loose fit.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.

Albatross had it right (right up until the point he said he'd vote UKIP) Blair was a Thatcherite in all but name.

UKIP? Pfft, created by a man called Goldstein who preached about keeping Britain british and keeping our economy safe from the naughty euros...

And who lived in Mexico to avoid paying UK taxes...

And then replaced by a man called Knapman, who brought in cheap polish workers to carry out renovations on his country mansion.

Then there was Robert Kilroy 'Smooth As' Silk. The most massive egotist ever to prowl the European Parliament.

Screw UKIP

Whatever, I actually think we need Euro-sceptics in european parliment! It would be nice if Parliment had more say in how our country is run, don't you think?
But who really deserves our vote? I struggle with that one.

The lib dems themselves don't even know what their policies are. And I mean, Nick Clegg for Prime Minister? pfffff.... My Cat would make a better one.

I'd vote Vince Cable for Prime Minister though having said that.
