I can remember a black and white picture, I think it was in a book called ignorant armies which was a compilation of short stories and I remember seeing in it a picture of a woman looking at her hand in horror as it's turned to a dragon like claw, scaly with talons.

Does anyone else know what I mean and can link me to the image?

I think I know what image you are talking about. The woman has long dark hair, and looks kinda like she is turning into a daemonette?

I don't have Ignorant Armies so the image must be in another book. I've paged through the following looking for it with no luck:

I know which one you mean, it's the illustration from 'The Other' by Nicola Griffith and, yes, it's from the 'Ignorant Armies' anthology. However, I can't provide a link or the name of the artist, and my copy's a few thousand km away.

I've got a copy of Ignorant Armies, and I see the piccy you mean on page 61, accompanying the story "The Other".

I remembered back far enough to realise it was also in the back of the Drachenfels book the original with the JB artwork cover.
