Does anyone know what will we get in it?

I think it was terminators, drop pod, grey hunters, scouts?

For $145 AUD out here (battleforces are normally $150) so it might be a little cheaper.

Sorry, yes, Luna, they have Predators. All the normal Marine vehicles (with slightly different rules of course) but no Russes.

They have Bjorn, who is a special character Dread who costs more than a Crusader.

Uhh... it's a Dreadnought. The Bjorn model's been around for as long as I can remember. It was the first Dreadnought I ever bought (it's even made of lead!). It's what every Marine Dread since has been based on.

Umm... a Defiler is much bigger. I don't really know why you'd want to attempt to turn one into the other unless you're doing Space Wolves as 'Counts As' Chaos.

I think its definately rebuyable. The scouts are a bonus really, everything in the box works out to be $195 AUD of stuff for $145.So its a $50 saving, so even if you buy just the battle force for the Wolf packs and the Drop pod which if purchased by themselves total at $160, i would be saving $15, so yeah definately rebuyable if you are starting out and want more standard wolves, or some models to make into long fangs if you add a dev squad or storm claws if you add jump packs.

A defiler would definately not make it into a dreadnaught, they are just too vastly different. Bjorn was practically the original dreadnaught and as HBMC said all of our current dreadnaughts are based off his pattern. You could probably use defilar claws though to make a nice powerfist/claw for Bjorn.

If they dropped the scouts and drop pod for the new Terminators, I'd be sold on this battleforce. I have no need for more scouts or another drop pod.

They'll never do that no matter how "worthy" the models are , because GW know people will realize

Well, the average battleforce is between $110-$120 worth of stuff for $90. Two wolf packs and a terminator squad would come at $120, at the higher end of the spectrum. A wolf pack, scouts, and terminators would be about $105, which is a bit on the low end. This is just me nitpicking, really.

After much discussion about the new book, I'm thinking that the Battleforce is actually quite a good deal. WG termies will be too expensive to be running a lot of them, unless you go the vanilla route with PW and stormbolter for most of the squad. I expect that many builds will have 1 squad of wolfguard and 2 wolfscout squads as the 3 elites you're allowed.

Split up the WG into your other units, maybe leaving a small unit of termies leftover. The two scout squads coming in most likely into the enemies side of the board is going to be very useful.

I thought it was one drop pod, two wolf packs, and one scout squad. It was shown in the Spanish WD pictures.

I believe that is correct. I've seen a picture of the English language advert for the Battleforce and had a GW employee confirm it as well. $90 US.

Considering that, the 12 model capacity doesn't/didn't make sense anyway (and yes, I know the Rhino/Land Raider scale compared to it's capacity doesn't make sense either, but at least this one does).

This is just a guess but im guessing:

DP capacity of 10 = automated drop

Transport Capacity of 12 for Rhino = For fluff of driver + gunner

But...the driver and gunner usually don't leave the vehicle, because the rhino can still move and shoot after deploying its squad.

Do Ultramarine rhinos have auto-pilot?

Also, what the hell is an "automated drop", I wasn't aware drop pods had pilots and gunners too.

Actually, Rhino's are usually manned by just the driver. Either a passenger takes up the storm bolter or the Tech marine in charge is really good at driving with his.. knees. I'd say knob, but we all know what happens to those when you become Astartes and are squeezed into a tight ceramite codpiece. Hmm, I think Kid has more info on that.
