Well there's a hell of a lot of pictures. I'm slowly adding more units, hoping to get some griffons, devil dogs, medusas and manticores. I really want to do more penal legion and psyker battle squads, I've really dug them in recent games. Feel free to leave any feedback or ask questions.

Oh my god, it is amazing that you have the concerntaration/stamina/interest to paint so huge an army, and to such a high level! Out of interest, how long did it take you to paint it all?

Over a the course of a bit more than a year probably 200+ hours. I try and give everything equal amounts of attention but I'm more concerned with uniformity and assembly line style painting than trying to make everything a work of art. My armies tend to be kinda bland overall but have a unified look. Hoping to try and do some more camo oriented vets one day that stand out a bit.

What a clever use for a plastic Goliath model. I have a few of those floating around. Thanks for the inspiration.

Some truly fantastic conversion here. I'm gonna have to pinch one or two ideas.

Armies:
(CSM/HH) - Iron Warriors; Death Guard; World Eaters; Night Lords
IG - Vestfalian Expeditionary
Force (Solar Auxilia - HH)
SM - Blades of Inaros (Homebrew)
DE - Kabal of Ouroboros

Great job. The only thing I don't dig is the bases. It just seems wrong with that "grassy sunshine" look.

Finally somebody else who has a decent sized painted guard army.

Any plans for further expansion of forces?

Well I've read polonius's awesome codex review for the second time recently and it's really made me want more psyker battle squads. The one thing bugging me a lot lately is the lack of plasma and melta in my army. I've got 3 standard guardsmen total with plasmaguns, same with metla, it just bugs the hell out of me.

Thanks for all the kind words from everyone, it means a lot. Feel free to borrow ANY ideas that tickle your fancy, I take it as a huge compliment

great conversion. I have found out that if you fill in the eye hole on the vox helmets with gs it makes it look like a visor and very hi tech.

Crablezworth, I think what makes this army so impressive to me is that while it is huge, it's full of conversions and all sorts of different modifications to different models - and yet, you've got a consistent, cohesive paint job that makes all the models look like they are truly a unified army. Bravo!

Of course, as an American, that means I must say that soccer sucks, and football (real football... you know, the one where you do everything with your hands) is 10,000 times as good. I mean, football players could probably beat up soccer players, even, because they actually know sports.
