Also cool to see the old bluemetal lads.

No one has more chaos than you, maybe not even GW! it’s quite fun painting the Necrons again, it’s such a simple scheme the rate of progress is very satisfying!

Hahaha Many thanks. Great work and amazing progress!

Thanks mate, it’s amazing what you can do without life getting in the way of hobby, though work has been some long days.
A bit more progress was made on the Necrons. I wasn’t in the mood for doing their glows as it needed a good bit of brain power. So instead I basecoated the dirt on their bases so I could stick with the big brush

For these two crypteks I really should’ve painted the bases first as it was nearly impossible to not get the VMC Chocolate Brown on their little legs and wormy bits (the Ophydians were similar). Tha Geomancers base is particularly fiddly, but think I got all of the little nooks and crannies!

This bunch were much more straight forwards particularly the blade legged Skorpekhs

The Ophydians were trickier but not too bad.

I’ll probably do the bases for the warriors next and might carry on with the bases so I can do all of the big brush work in one go. Not sure how far I’ll go with Szeras’ base given the dying bloke and dead terminator on it. The former will be painted similar to Taddeus the Purifier and the terminator will obviously be a void panther

Thanks for looking
