Hi all,

An ongoing Deff dread build that I'm working on, it started life as a lamp bulb fitting...just kept adding to it with plastic card plates, rivets and various GW and 1/35th tank kit bits and pieces...

Still quite a bit to do before the paint goes on, mainly adding another weapon to go with the belly cannon

Thanks for looking

Yeah dude, I'm really feeling that. Looks v.good.

One suggestion or thing i noticed. The feet look a little weak, I would make them slightly bulkier. I don't mean in terms of strength, but in looks.

Overall the plasticard work is great, very well executed!

Nice work. It looks kinda busy right now but it'll probably look much better painted. I'd beef up the engine on the back a bit, too.

That's the first thing I thought! I started chanting, "DANGER! DANGER!" Very cool scratchbuild, dude. It's both goofy and killy looking at the same time. I think it would be cool to have a little, pintle-mounted grot blasta on top near the cupola.

Could we get a straight up size comparison next to another figure? That Dread looks pretty big. Nice work, by the way.

When you call an intimate moment with your partner "the Assault Phase"

Is that followed by a pile-in move?

That brings a whole new meaning to the term "Hit and Run"

Can that be following a deep strike, or do you have to wait until the next round?

Many thanks for the kind words guys !

For size comparison a Nob is the same height as one of the legs

It kind of reminds me of Lemingspawns stomaps. Not as a whole, but the mid section really is what makes me think of it. Looking pretty good so far BTW.

Excellent work. Kinda tall, but that's just an excuse to now build some tall terrain pieces.

Excellent work although way too big to be a dread. I would treat it as a mini-stompa of some sort, looks like a scaled down model for a Mek to be trying out his ideas on.

you could run it as a supa-dread. You can find the rules for download at forgeworld.com

A bit too tall for my taste, but otherwise really nice. I'd make the feet a bit bigger, both to look better and to avoid it falling over all the time on the games table.

cheers guys, going to use it as a mega dread, just downloaded the forgeworld rules. The arms are from the battlewagon kit, had to buy an extra arm from ebay though. I want to try and beef the feet up a bit, tyres maybe ? Also going to add shoulder plates.

The angry face made me laugh real good

For some reason this Deff Dredd, to me, feels like the Trogdor of Dredds. I love it (Even though it lacks a big beefy arm coming out of the back of it's neck)

I agree with the others that the base of the feet should be larger, as right now it looks a bit unstable, even by Orky standards, but otherwise she's puuurdy
