It's a question that has been going through my head for as long as I remember but I didn't bother since I never fielded my bikes. After my last game and their brave stand I decided to get the answer, though.
What is the equipment of a Space Marine Biker? His model has the bike sporting 2 bolters/bolt pistols, whatever that is, but his equip says "bolt pistol" only. Is the other gun just for show or are they twin linked or something?
Thanks in advance.

its a twin linked bolter, its included in the bike profile.
a biker has: a bike, a pistol, power armor. the pistol is pretty useless, as you'd never use it over the twin linked bolter, because the model is relentless.

The biker's wargear also includes a "Space Marine Bike".
See page 100 of C:SM for details of this, which says it includes a twin-linked bolter.

Oh, I must have overlooked the info on the bolter.
Thanks a lot!
EDIT: Relentless also makes him able to always shoot the 24 inch shoot, or am I making things up?

It makes him always count as not moving, even if he moves.

...unless you planned to assault the target unit and wanted to kill fewer models in shooting, making it more difficult for your opponent to pull casualties in such a way as to prevent a follow-up charge.

Nice. It adds even more toward the pros of using the bikes. Cant wait to get back home in Jan and use them again

Can you assault after shooting the rapid fire bolters anyway?

Yes but if you kill all the models, you cant assault. Also if you kill too MANY models, your opponent can make it so you are out of charge range.

Expect when a Sergeant with a power sword wants a extra attack.
But yes, regular Bikers don't use anything with bolt pistol. Unless you have a cunning plan of reducing the unit size which you wanna charge but don't want them to flee...
