Here is my Necron army. Please comment and give improvements! I'd love to know how to make them better!
Btw, I also have a Monolith but it's in a bit of a state at the moment and needs to be redone.

From what I can see, you've done a good, solid, job there. All the basics seem to have been covered well enough, so I'd be happy to see them on the table (personal peeve : I hate un-painted armies being fielded).

Sorry if that's not too helpful, perhaps some better pics might show something up.

Oh, BTW, nice idea with "Old Red-Eye" as a battle honour. Perhaps that's something you can expand on.

Looks man. I personally like Necrons no matter what people say.
Also a nice tip for your scarabs. They have 3 wounds, SO you only need 3 on a base. Which means if your take one off of all of those, youll gain 2 extra scarabs. and you can buy the bases for close to nothing

Tough to give critiques due to the quality of the pictures. Overall though they look really solid.

My only complaint is they need to be based my friend.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

I think they look good, but it's pretty hard to tell :S

I don't know whether you're using a flash, or if you were standing on the actual surface of the sun when you took these.

Try to get some pics with a more ambient/diffused light source. As it stands, i can't tell whether you've painted white or silver on most of them.

Well, they look pretty good, if not a bit run-of-the-mill. I would like to see clearer pictures, though. Hard to really make out your paintjob for critiques/suggestions.
My biggest gripe at this point is... BASE THEM!

Yeah i would have to agree with Ghidorah, is that your army looks pretty good yet standard (nothing wrong there, it suits necrons) but you need to base them.

Even a mediocre mini can be made to look much much better with a nice base. Mix up a little PVA and water, paint it onto the bases with an old brush, throw some sand on them.

Let it all dry brush off the excess, then give them a quick basecoat of black, followed by a dry brush of codex grey and following that a lighter drybrush of fortress grey and they are based in an urban scheme and will make them all the much better.

try looking on the web (or dakka) for cheap light boxes to make, all you really need is a cardboard box and some paper/sticky tape.
with your camera, there is a button called macro which allows you to take close up pictures without it being blurry (looks like a flower) and when you take a picture, hold the button half down so you can focus on the model better, hope it helps!

Ok, thanks guys!
Unfortunately I was using a RUBBISH camera, I try to get better quality pics soon.
I've just bought some grass and stones for their bases, I will probably stick on stones and paint them grey, then scatter grass over.

Thanks again!
