Hi all!

I've been thinking about creating an Adeptus Arbites army for a while now, I've been thinking for some reason a mechanised response force. So looking at Imperial Armour updates for Repressor rules I came across a reference to Arbites squads. Do these exist and is so where can I find them? Because I was planning on running Guard as Arbites but different rules might be interesting if they exist.

Also in your opinions should I mount them in Repressors or Chimeras (which would have autocannons)?

Cheers!

There are rules for using the Arbites in the witch hunters codex (stormtroopers with shotguns)

There are models in the Necromunda range, though they are rather expensive...

Why must I always choose beween certain death and probable death.

Cheers for the reply, I think I'll stick with Guard veterans and perhaps some Storm troopers so Chimeras I guess!

Arbites minis are all but extinct unfortunately. You might be lucky enough to find a box somewhere, but you'll be paying dearly for it.

What I would suggest instead, is simply using SM scout bodies and equipping them as-per Arbites. Give them some Arbites helmets with GS, and they'll look close to the part.

Otherwise, it's non-GW minis all the way.

I also knocked up this guy as an Arbites/Enforcer using a Pig Iron head:

Is that just a regular set Scout w/Shotgun arms mixed with Cadian body/Pig Iron head?

Also, the Arbite model line isn't totally extinct.

That's it exactly. The arm and knee pads are greenstuffed as well.

Cool. I was wanting to make some security personnel armed with shotguns and while I've got heaps and heaps of spare Scout Shotguns, I've never tried any with a Cadian body.

I wonder if they'll work with the Valkyrie door gunners... hmm...

I have an Arbites squad in progress that I paid £40 for. I also have a Precinct in progress (check out the pics on my user) and I also have a converted Land Speeder, which I will upload photos of as soon as I can. Finally, I have a repressor in progress that I bought from Forge World, but I have had major problems with.
Your best, and cheapest option, is to convert Cadians with Scout shotguns and any heads you can get hold of. Finally, if you wish to build a full army check out 'Bell Of Lost Souls', they have a PDF download that can be used to create a whole army and has details of things like Supression and Executioner Squads. If you can't find the link PM me and I'll try to get it for you.
